Imminent Brewing

While it took a moment to find this place at first (directions directed us to Fifth St. while this brewery is tucked behind the tattoo parlor off Division), we're glad we took a stroll around the block to quench our thirst on such a lovely, warm day!When asking a question, the bartender was very helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. They have free wifi, clean bathrooms, cool merch and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Both the stout and porter were really good! The stout is down the middle straight up solidness. The porter has a nice ale color and soft richness of a more subtle porter and the free-spirit of summer. It's Friday late afternoon and there's a pizza food truck outside which is always a plus!We'd def come back here again!

I tried to go here one weekend afternoon. Probably sat in front of the armory a good 20 minutes making sure my GPS was correct. The building says it's an armory... NOTHING about a brewery...as I looked up and down the street to see if I had the address wrong? About to give up, I drove around the corner, by the grocery store... well....look at that!! The brewery!!! The street parking was taken and there wasn't a sign saying I couldn't... I parked in a closest to the brewery, furthest from the store parking space. When I entered the brewery there was live music. Lots of great natural light. The staff was friendly and helpful as I tried to pick two pints. I opted for the Scooby Dunkel and Ravens Nest stout w banana and Nutella. Both beers were good. A cozy little tap room in a small town, not a bad stop. Seating was comfortable at a standard height table. Thanks Imminent for making the beer worth the confusion of finding exactly where you were. Cheers!

It was a Vikings football day and the game was on when we arrived. We ordered a flight and the bartender was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the beer with the salted rim. We weren't crazy about the non alcoholic drink and thought it had kind of a vinegary flavor. There is an indoor area and a nice patio.

Imminent brewing was a fun place to visit twice during our stay in Northfield, MN. The quiet college town has a few brew pubs, but we chose Imminent. It has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating with food trucks each night. The service from Katie and Tom was great! We close some great beers for our taste! We tried the Momo Himalayan food truck which supplied Asian dumplings. It was a great visit, and we played board games. The beers we chose were perfect for us....I really liked the honey basil ale and my husband liked the Vaya con dios sour. We had a big group and the second night we were there until closing time.

I love unique flavors and man, did this place deliver. Both the banana and hot pepper cervezas packed a bold initial punch followed by a smooth, light aftertaste. They also had plenty of milder flavors for the less adventurous. The huge outdoor patio was a great place to mingle. Great location right by the river walk.

Imminent is more than an amazing brewery, it is a meeting spot within the community! In college I found myself going to Imminent at least once a week to hangout after a long day of classes with friends, attend trivia, or listen to a local instrumental group. The team at Imminent is always extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and in good spirits! The space is open and though it can get crowded- their outdoor patio is a great option- especially on warm summer nights! Imminent has a range of beers and is always trying something new out. The prices are reasonable, the beers are good, food trucks come often and the atmosphere makes his brewery a staple in the Northfield community.If in town for hours or days, Imminent is a great spot to stop for a drink or food!

9/25/21 So I'm a beer snob. I tried the Double Agent J and Dragon Squirrel Juicy IPA. My friend who also prefers IPA agreed with me that we wouldn't come back for the beer but would for the atmosphere and music. My other friend got a growler of the Honey Basil Ale. They have mini beer portions which I love. And live music. You can bring in food. And they have a rotation food trucks that come in front of it

Best brewery in town! There are often food trucks out front so the food variety changes frequently. The owners are fantastic and helpful in guiding beer choice if you're overwhelmed by the menu. Great seating and ambiance inside or out!

We heard good things about this place from friends, so while we were in town, we tried it out. We were underwhelmed. First, while acknowledging this is a brewery, we anticipated they would have at least a small menu for wine drinkers. They did not. Second, the acoustics inside were lousy for conversation.Finally, the food truck that services the place was extremely slow and had a limited menu based entirely on barbecued meat. I'm giving this a two-star only because I'm sure there are people out there who enjoy a decent beer, mediocre barbecue and beans, but it wasn't the place for us.

Great dog-friendly indoor and patio. Good beer; I've only tried the West Coast IPA so far, but it was solid. Food trucks often parked outside if you're hungry for a nibble.
