Hub Hobby Center

My go-to Gunpla Shop when I'm in town. They have a massive selection of HG, RG, MG, and even PG. The owner must be well versed in Gunpla, because they only have great kits. They also are well equipped with accessories like water decals, alligator clips, Gundam markers, and even the rare stock of black Tamiya panel wash.The best part? The prices are great! Every kit I pick up and Amazon-cross reference, Hub Hobby is almost ALWAYS cheaper. I don't think Minnesotans understand what a gem this place is; you will never come across a hobby shop who not only has quality in the volume of their inventory, but also incredibly competitive prices.And the staff? Amazing. One word.......Javier!

This place is awesome! I wish we had Hub Hobby in Los Angeles, because the selection here is unbeatable. They have everything from stuffed animals to toys to board games to model kits and everything in between.

This store is one of the best stocked places for scratch building supplies. They've got a huge selection of paints and tools. They've got high end detail supplies that you would normally special order. They've also got a number of sections of the store specializing in things like science and engineering projects for kids, games, puzzles, RC, slot cars like AFX Aurora and others. The model train section is well stocked. There are table top gaming supplies and the various kinds of books that go with them. I found some obscure parts that I wanted for myself and was really surprised that they could be found here. For model builders and gamers, this is a really good place for supplies.

Wow!!!! I accidentally found this place and decided to check it out. I thought it was going to be small from looking at it from the outside and once I went through the doors it was HUGE! They have so much inventory of everything you can think of. The shop is well organized and clean. The prices are average but has a large selection. The staff mostly sticks to themselves instead of engaging with customers which some people would prefer. Overall it's a great shop for hobby stuff

Awesome store! Not so awesome return/exchange policy. We received a duplicate gift for Xmas. We tried to return for in-store credit as we had no receipt. Hub Hobby would not do it despite there being a Hub Hobby price sticker on the item. Seemed nitpicky for a $13 dollar item. Ultimately we left with our duplicate and didn't buy anything else.

Almost always have what I need in stock for RC, just wish they'd carry FlyBy controllers/receivers as the pricepoint on them for what they are is incredibly hard to beat.

I wish I came here before I finished my Christmas shopping! This place is great, there are so many cool games, crafts and other creative items you can honestly walk around for hours. It's way bigger that you would expect, if you have an interest in a geeky hobby like Board Games, Models, RC Cars, Trains and Figurines to name a few then you will love this place. I felt motivated to start a new hobby while I was here, so many different things can appeal to so many interests that it's impossible not to find something you will like. If you do catch a bug for starting something Hub can set you up with everything you need to do it, for a way more reasonable price than you would expect too.If you have kids or are going to a kids birthday or something like that, check out Hub first. Tons of toys and gifts for little ones all within an affordable price range. If you are going to an Adult party or looking for a funny gag gift they got you covered there too, I can't wait to go back!

Great, hobby shop with lots of product. If you need parts for your RC hobby, this is the place.

Favorite store ever! They have the best selection of toys and games. I am a Douglas and Schleich collector and they do a good job of restocking their merchandise! Very kind and helpful staff as well! You can tell all the people that work here enjoy it. This store is so unique and nostalgic, I cannot recommend it enough!

The older gentleman working the RC section was largely helpful, but I had to speak with him after receiving contradictory (and incorrect) answers from another staff member. Even the more helpful fellow gave some incorrect recommendations (rather than providing useful information, they just recommended whatever they had on the wall - and that would not have fit).Perhaps better staff training would help? The staff also looked exhausted - more breaks might help?
