If you like planes/model rockets/and other gizmos this is your kind of place.Honestly I just came here to buy some Cyanoacrylate. There have more variations than you can shake a stick at (and probably the sticks to shake if I cared to have one). It comes in various formulations and viscosities. There are also a variety of applicators to assist you.I whistfully glanced at the model rockets as I left - some things you just grow out of as you age - but you still miss.

I've been shopping at Hub Hobby since I got my first r/c car in the 80's (a Kyosho Maxxum FF). Used to race at the r/c track they had out back down the hill. I was in this weekend intending to spend some of my tax refund on a new r/c setup (kit and electronics). As soon as I walked in the door there is a rack of novelty socks, one of them with an offensive message. This is the very first thing I saw upon entering (see pictures). This is also located in the young children's section. I'm pretty disappointed. I mean I'm not an uptight prude or anything, but I used to think of Hub as family friendly. I don't think that's good judgement on their part. I left and ordered online from AMain Hobbies instead.

My husband had a project he was doing for his engineering class and needed to find a little motor for a toy car. After walking around for about ten minutes we came to learn the vastness of hobby potential!! I was never into model cars, trains, or airplanes growing up but could totally see myself getting into it now that I know where to get all the goods!! Prices were reasonable but the best part for sure was how incredibly friendly absolutely every single one of the employees were!!

This place brings back your youth. I love the great fines in this place and the friendly staff if you have an RC car or need anything with RC cars this is the place to go!!!

These guys are just AWESOME! I've bought from the physical store fronts over the past few years, but with the current situation (CV19) I am staying in another state. They had a hard to find item in stock from one of their locations after I sent an email to see if they had it. In less than 10 minutes, they replied - and I was able to buy this online and ship it to me!!! Awesome service, as always!

This is a fun store with a ton of things to look at. They have a small play area with Thomas Trains for the kids. The prices are about normal not to high. Its very clean, Down side is no public bath room , no carts and no garbage cans. The staff watch you like a hawk . Maybe they have a shoplifting problem. All and all 3 stars

Did some Christmas shopping here recently, and it continues to be as awesome as awesome can be. A woman in line in front of me had called and put something away on layaway. While the guy ran to get it she was glancing around, and when he came back she said: "Can you hold on to it for a while? I want to look around. I had no idea the store was like this." Meaning, she was blown away by previously mentioned awesomeness.PS, I like this place.

This is the nerdiest place with the most sweet customer service people ever! had taken a spiritual animal class and was looking for little zebras or butterflies. The female employee walked down aisle after aisle and showed me stuffed animals, stuffed animals on clearance, paint kits, scratch off waxy black metal thingy kits, animal figurines, paint by number animals. As we wandered about I saw tea sets for little kids, recycled plastic toy trucks, family games, the Pokémon cards my 12-year-old came here to buy, old fashioned car painting kits, make your own miniature toy train people and trees, I'm getting dizzy just trying to remember everything. This was a huge store. The male employee helped us find a bathroom and gave us a card for their other location and said they will happily transfer products between stores for us and was just overall super friendly and helpful. If my kids weren't teenagers who spend most of their lives on electronics, I would be here all the time!

I finally signed up for Yelp so I could leave this review...I went to Hub Hobby to purchase an RC car for my son with only very basic research and knowledge under my belt. Right away the store felt inviting and professional. When the folks at the RC counter asked if they could help with anything I smirked because I knew I was about to barrage this poor guy with dozens of 101-level questions.I expected, at best, dry knowledge conveyed with a tired and rehearsed mechanical tone... Not so much! The staff was super knowledgeable and more importantly, obviously passionate about RC-everything. They answered every question I had then took the time to dig into my plans and goals so they could guide me to exactly what I needed. There was no upselling or other sales bs involved. I haven't felt this well-treated in a retail environment in a very long time!I bought a RTR short track truck, charger and spare battery. Unfortunately, the charger was defective. I figured it was user error (it usually is with me), returned to the store and walked them through exactly what I did and what happened. They concluded it was defective and warrantied out a new one on the spot, then tested to verify everything was good before I left.Yes, I could probably get things cheaper online but this kind of service is worth real money to me. I will absolutely be returning for my next car and/or service and parts.

Best customer service ever! I'm from NC... southern hospitality. .. taking a trip here is like going into a store from the 1950sYes it's that good! The grandpa's at the customer service counter know everything about remote control everything. . they can help you build or repair. . they could do a class on the maintenance of such things. .I came here euthanasia my friend Brian. He is a nerd plus one of the sweetest people i know. . he had many questions. They were all answered.Purchased a new car. We left very satisfied.
