Very friendly and helpful service. Not pushy at all when it was suggested we should go for the walleye promotion at dinner. Glad we did!We actually went for the Peking Duck 3 ways. 1st course was slices of duck breast with crispy skin. Serves with steam buns. Cilantro, cucumber sticks and a plum sauce came with. The second course was outrageously delicious. Soup from the Peking duck bones! Finally, minced Peking duck meat stir fried with other ingredients. Served with iceberg lettuce leaves to wrap. A great value, too. Delicious dim sum. That was lunch on a Saturday. Four days later, Peking duck 3 ways for dinner.Must order in advance even though I was told 2 different times it wasn't necessary. The kitchen was brought to a halt because of the work involved in preparing the Peking Duck 3 ways. Other diners had quite a wait for their dinners. I was told that night we could call in the same day to order. One more thing. Go for the dim sum for lunch. Well prepares, delicious and a great selection.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Expensive and slow , portions are small , spend over $170 and only 5 dishes , still waiting and waiting .. For this price I would have gone to a fancy restaurant , not recommend unless you have money to throw away

Went there on a Sunday afternoon for dim sum and this place was not crowded at all! It was nice having a lot of room for my party and not noisy at all. Service was just ok.You get a piece of paper to choose what you want and then it'll come out piping hot! Everything my table ordered was delicious except for the beef ball...it was on the tougher side, unlike what I'm used to.One major complaint I have is to be careful if you get seated at the round table all the way in the back next to the kitchen. There is just a cloth as a door so when the kitchen staff goes outside for a smoke break you can smell it at the table! Maybe they need to educate the staff to shut that door or go somewhere further for a smoke break? I had little kids with me so that was a big bummer to have to smell cigarette smell while trying to enjoy my meal.

We tried their dim sim, though not served out of carts, the taste is good. Surprisingly not too crowded on Sunday we early morning (more patrons came in at the tail end of our stay). We looked at their menu, a definite place to come again for their Peking Duck, lobster, sole and crab. A good option for Chinese meal when you are in Brooklyn Park area.

As a girly from California who's accustomed to authentic Cantonese style dim sum, I give this place two thumbs up considering Minnesota is not known for its dim sum. My lil bro and his wife generally goes to Yangtze and has taken me there before but I was not impressed. The menu is pretty extensive considering you can order dim sum plus the regular menu on weekends. I came on Saturday because I've been waiting all week to try the dim sum during my visit. Everything came piping hot and was fresh and the servers were all extremely nice. I wish I had more stomach because there were so many things in the menu I didn't get to try. My lil bro first griped that this place was too far, but after he ate, he changed his tune and said "okay" when asked to come back

Our previous visits were a bit more successful. Today the food was not that amazing. Dim sums were good and fresh, but tofu dishes were bland. Tofu was wet and soggy even though it was meant to be crispy and nicely fried. I had to ask for salt because the food was missing flavor. But the worst part are the fish tanks with half dead fish and crabs that are floating upside down in the water. You can't focus on food because you keep looking at the misery of those poor creatures. Sad experience.

Made an impromptu stop for dinner on random Monday night. Have been here before but was able to take advantage of their Lobster special for dine-in only. Mon-Fri. Spend $100 get one dish of lobster free. The limit goes up to $150 for Sat-Sun. The best part is they also have lobster menu price of 2 lobster for $55 which can go towards the $100 spend. After all our dishes, passed the $100 limit and ended up with 3 lobsters.

Great to have another Chinese place in the cities. It had HK Noodle x Mandarin Kitchen vibes. Menu covered all the yummy Cantonese favorites and more. Prices felt reasonable too - most were $12-20. Ordered - Lobster (4/5). There is a lobster deal going on - 2 for $40. Different ways to cook including salt & pepper and stir fry in black bean sauce - HK Steak (3.5/5). Not too bad, a bit sweet but reminded me of a similar meal when I was in Hong Kong- Half Roast Duck (4/5). Tasty and at one point, thought it was similar to House of Wu Duck. A bit cold though was our only feedback- Tofu Hotpot (3/5). A bit disappointing. Thought it would be served on sizzling hotpot but it was fully cooked already. The salted fish was very light so you wouldn't have noticed despite it being the main reason for going for this dish House of Kirin adds some competition to the Chinese food scene and it's worth trying if you're in the area.

I went with my spouse during dim sum hours on a weekend. The hostess at the door was nice, and the restaurant was clean. That's where the positives stop. All of the dim sum items we ordered were either severely undercooked/steamed or the dough for the wrappers/buns/turnip cake were just soggy and didn't hold their shape. Super gross. The server ladies didn't give us all of our orders and tried charging us for items we never received. The hostess had to step in and help us instead. The price is also ridiculous for the quality of the food. Why serve dim sum if you don't know how to make the dough for the wrappers, buns, and turnip cakes?
