Hometowne Pizza

It's pretty good pizza not going to lie. Is it great? Not sure. Is it busy? No. These guys are rocking the speed that this pizza comes out. I wish they would have rocked a pan crust however, instead of a thin crust like I had asked, but, it's still pretty darn tasty. So to start here's the not so good besides the pizza crust mix up, the website. Lord is it not easy to navigate. So terrible to navigate in fact that after 10 minutes of trying to figure it out on my phone, I gave up and called. The problem I continued to find was that no matter what I tried every pizza I was trying to order was from a different location then the one I wanted to order from. The other not so great part of this, was the fact that online they claimed to have two deals, when ordering online, it said they had one, when calling they confirmed there was only one. So why is there two coupons or specials, when there's really only 1? Add on top of the crust mix up, and it's hard to rate this highly. Additionally, I hope you're ordering for pick up or delivery because there's not much for space inside. The positives here are simple, great flavor, wonderfully cooked, fantastic job with the extra cheese. Based off pizza only she easily gets a 3.5/4. It's easily comparable to other chains, and how do you really mess up pizza? If you offered me the big chains vs this though, I'm easily taking this.

Pizza lunch at a local church (Northwood) in Maple served up this new locations pies. They have a variety of options all good and their gluten free is ridiculously good which thought I would never say. We had 4 options my favorite was pepperoni and sausage but the veggie and meat lovers were also delicious. Located right by target and set up to go.... Order online or call ahead

Great service and great pizza. Only thing that was a bit strange is the location, it's tucked in with a bunch of other businesses so was a little tricky to find and determine where to park. Definitely a takeout place since it was quite small inside, but we were doing takeout anyway.We ordered a taco pizza and deep dish beef and chicken. Both were really good and the taco pizza comes with sour cream and taco sauce. When we went to pick up the pizzas they gave us second taco pizza for free (without asking) since they cut the first taco pizza in squares even though it was not a thin crust.

Hometowne is a relatively recent discovery for me. I'm kind of picky about my pizzas and I haven't really found a super solid place in the Maple Grove area since I moved up here a couple years ago. Then, I decided to try Hometowne. I don't know what to say other than this is really good pizza. Great cheese, great sauce, great crust, and so many options. I've gotten their XL 3-topping deal a couple times now and you get so much pizza for the price! There are some specialty pizzas I have my eye on for next time, but sometimes sticking with the basics is the way to go. I also like how Hometowne is one of the very, VERY few places that still uses its own delivery drivers. I always get a little anxiety when I order from a place and find out delivery is coming via Doordash because I've had so many issues with them in the past to the point that I fully deleted my account with them. Hometowne comes right from the store so I feel like I can trust them a lot more. And if there ever is an issue, I can handle it directly with the store and not have to go back and forth between Doordash and the restaurant. The one thing I would change is the jalapeño popper is roughly 90% jalapeño and 10% cream cheese. I love the idea but both times I've gotten it I haven't been able to eat it without removing the jalapeños! The best way I can describe it is a jalapeño popper in the form of a calzone. If there were fewer (or at least smaller) jalapeños and more cream cheese, it would probably be my favorite pizzeria appetizer ever. They have lots of other options though if spicy isn't your thing!I haven't been to the physical location to eat so my review has been based only on delivery and carry out. Overall it's been a very good experience and I think I've finally found my new go-to pizza place that's actually near me!

I don't understand how people from Minnesota suburbs can like their pizza burnt. The "doughy" crust that Minnesotans complain about is what Chicago and New York style pizza are based on. You should be able to fold your piece of pizza, not break it in half. The cheese should be melted through, not brown.I can burn frozen pizza at home. Rosati's, the former establishment at this location, got caught in the Covid crunch like other small businesses and couldn't hang in there. It's too bad. They had the best pizza, Chicken Parmesan and by far the best Calzone anywhere within 20 miles at least. Maple Grove needs a Pizza Luce.

We placed an online order for a pizza and requested it to have a little extra "cook" on it. We weren't sure what to expect - we've ordered extra bake on pizza from other places and it never seems to have that darker cheese bake that we were going for. Wow! The Maple Grove Hometowne Pizza has mastered the extra bake! It was exactly what we were hoping for and tasted superb. Well done, guys! Thank you!

Pizza was fantastic and the service was even better!! Definitely going back again! The dessert was fantastic as well!

Hometowne pizza is a new spot in Maple Grove after expanding from their Medina location. They took over the space vacated from a previous pizza place. The location offers pizza by the slice during lunch hours and a variety of pizza, pasta and salad options at all times. The space inside is small with only a few counter spots but they do have some patio seating outside if the weather is nice. If not, just be prepared it's not a dine in location. We ordered online for takeout and our pizza was ready at the exact time quoted so bonus points for timeliness! We ordered a three topping pizza and pizza fries. Pizza was good, a little light on toppings but still delicious. The pizza fries were as described and are similar to a cheese calzone cut into 6 strips to pull apart with marinara. The family loved as an alternate to cheese bread. Overall, it's a nice additional option to the existing takeout places in maple grove and one that we will plan to add to our rotation.

Pizza was good, just about the ideal amount of sauce, cheese and toppings.I also enjoyed the sweet chili wings as well!Prices seemed fair, and delivery was no problem.Will order again!
