I got the chicken fried steak and it was decent, not the best I've had but not the worst. It is definitely like their name when it comes to food. Home style breakfast and supper meal.

I came in asking for a time estimate for a table of 9 and they said it'd be 15-20 minutes. After 15 minutes, I asked for an update because no tables were clearing out. The waitress said that it would still be another 5 minutes, but that we wouldn't get to sit together. They wasted my family's time. I don't remember asking to sit separately from my family. Ridiculous. Should have told me in the first place.

If your are looking for a great old fashion cafe in a great small town, check out Homestyle in Annandale. Great breakfast specials, all-you-can-eat spaghetti Tuesdays for lunch and a chicken buffet on Wednesday noon always packs the parking lot.Only complaint would be Homestyle is not open for evening supper.

My mom and sister and I stopped here after going to the flea market and brewery. Saw the sign from road about homestyle chicken. Arrived after 2 on a Saturday and they close at 3. Mom ordered a California Burger with salad, sister ordered chicken strips and I ordered the Charlie Burger. Waitress said it's her favorite. The description was lettuce, tomato and special sauce. Presentation was a tossed salad on top of burger and messy. It was good though and fries crispy. The place was littered with napkins and food on the floor and the girl sweeping moved at a snail's pace. I would have been done in 5 minutes. I don't know if she intentionally worked super slow to get out of other duties or what. Service was good and attentive. Support small town business.

Great little traditional diner in a small town. Really enjoyed my breakfast experience here this morning. Great service and not trendy at all. I find a lot of places simply try too hard so you lose that just honey experience for breakfast, that and in rural areas there just aren't a lot of options to hit for breakfast. I'm sure this place has been here for many years and I hope it's around for many more.

Great service, good salad bar, but above all awesome and delicious home style Fried Chicken.

This is a fantastic place to go if you want to eat microwave shit from a can. If you are a type 2 diabetic, this is also a great place to stop for a nasty bite to eat.

Very good biscuits and gravy.Friendly prompt service.Hash browns hot and crispy.Easy to reach locations on the highway.

People are super nice, food is awesome and prices are great. Perfect low-key, old school breakfast stop on the way home. We will be back.

Great lunch! My Dad said "best sandwich I've ever had". Nice big salad and crispy chicken. Definitely recommend this cafe!
