Highland Park National Golf Course

This St. Paul public course is outstanding. It's challenging but fair and the course maintenance is first rate. Play is fast and the staff is very helpful. Don't miss the Snoopy bunker!

This is such a great place to go in the winter. During the winter months, they have a cross country ski course. They also have cross country skis that you can rent out. They have a new office building that is also doubles up as a warming house to get your skis on and get snacks. If you don't have your own skis, you can rent it this building. There is also a bathroom, They have a free parking lot. I like this course because there are small hills which makes it a lot of fun. It's a pretty good work out as well. I am definitely going to go back again. I really enjoyed it when I went out with my group of friends.

This is a really great 18 hole golf course! The course itself is in great shape: wonderful fairways, well-kept greens (which are super challenging), and immaculately manicured "rough" all contribute to a great experience. Even the water hazards and sand traps are kept up nicely. The course is challenging, but also not too long and hazards not too numerous. In addition to the upkeep, Highland Park is a really scenic course: there are quite a few holes with "signature" qualities, like the water towers and "Snoopy" sand trip. Pace of play was really quick the day we were out there, we finishes in less than 3.5 hours. We rented clubs, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. Overall, fees are quite reasonable, especially during the week. All in all, a great course to play in the Twin Cities!
