HD Laundromat

Let's start off by saying I rarely if ever need a laundromat. But When I need one -I like to have a clean one with some convenience items. This laundromat offers some MEGA load washers that allow you to do a lot at once and pay by credit/debit card which is ideal. I mean we are in a coin shortage aren't we ;-). They have several sizes of washers and dryers but only the larger ones take cards. Now for those that have banked their coins or don't mind cashing in on a load of quarters. They offer an ATM for a fee and coin changer. There's a soap center in case you forgot something and a vending machine. Now on to the cleanliness. Really that kind of up to the customers and the maintenance when they come in to clean. There was no one on site. One of my loads came out covered in cat hair. UGH. Now that is not cool. I am highly allergic so this was a major issue. I re- washed in a different machine and all was well. Bathroom on site was somewhat clean but had NO TOILET PAPER. I saw no number to call to let them know place is in need of service.

Very clean laundry room, if you don't go into the restroom. Plenty of washing machines, and dryers. Coin operated and some are credit card operated. Six folding tables and 6 carts. It is well lit and easy to find. As prices go I think it is comparable to others our load was $2.75 for extra wash and rinse. I thought the clothes especially the towels were not wrung out quite enough. Drying was 3.50 for multi load dryer.

Under new managment very nice place to do laundry. The machines are always up and running large capacity wahsers and dryers to do comforters. I'm loving the tv and the free Wi-fi to pass the time. Always clean and one of the lowest prices south of the river to do your laundry.

Absolutely positively do NOT bring your bedding or anything that means something to you. I was in the other night and dropped over $100 washing and drying my clothes and bedding. The washers were great but the dryers...not so much. I put my bedding into three different dryers and put them on the cooler drying cycle. When the dryer stopped, I pulled out my bedding and the dryer has melted a huge section of a very nice blanket I paid a lot of money for. It totally ruined my stuff, beyond repair. So if you come here, please anticipate taking your bedding home burned and melted Had I known this sooner, I would have gone to a different location FOR SURE!!!
