Hazelwood Food and Drink

Hazelwood continues to be consistently a great spot to go! The food and service is always fantastic and it's a nice place for a casual date on a Monday or a bit of a fancier date! Highly recommend:The Rosemary's Baby cocktail - but get it up not over ice! Chicken Lettuce Wraps are great to share. Every pizza I've tried has been deliciousGetting a main so you can get some of their incredible popovers. French Onion SoupRotisserie Chicken SandwichTheir Asian salmon is my go to - they don't have it on the menu as of last week but they need to bring it back. The Gochujang and rice pilaf was incredible. I've never had a Salmon dish overcooked there either which is pretty amazing. If you're not full yet - they have a good lineup of desserts. The Key lime pie is my fav. Pro-tip - check out their specials menu - they are always trying new things out or bringing old things back.

Hazelwood has very, very good food in a nice atmosphere. It has become my favorite brunch spot, I've had the avocado toast, the huevos rancheros among others and both were very good and filling.They have great cocktails for those that imbibe - myself I had a virgin mary, spicy and topped with maple glaze bacon but didn't overdo the garnishes.Would be perfect if 1) they had a cappuccino machine vs just brewed coffee, and 2) the 80s music is a bit jaded and a little too loud. Other than that, a great choice with a huge parking lot for free (vs Excelsior)

Hazelwood is one of our favorite go-to spots, and for good reason! Most of their food is consistently great, and we've tried quite a bit of the menu over multiple visits. This time, we ordered the Shrimp & Scallop Scampi and the Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken & Shrimp. Both dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. For appetizers, we had the wings, which were a great start to the meal.The food is always a highlight here, but the service deserves a shoutout too--it's consistently awesome! The staff is friendly, attentive, and really helps make the experience enjoyable.They have a parking lot, which is convenient, but it tends to fill up quickly, so finding a spot can sometimes be a bit tricky.Overall, Hazelwood is a reliable spot for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely keep coming back for more!

Honestly, this might be my favorite restaurant. I live right next to it and I always go!! from the drinks to the chicken pot pie. This is one amazing restaurant. The service is great. and the ambience is just amazing after they redid in 2022.

Came here for brunch on Labor Day weekend and surprisingly wasn't very busy! The service was not great. It took over 5 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. We weren't given waters until our food was served to us and we had to ask for them. Asked for a beer chaser with my bloody and never got it. Overheard servers telling other serves and busser's to "get to work because their shift is done and they are still working."Overall just wasn't a great experience with the service. Huge outdoor patio area with tons of seating. Can be in the shade or the sun. Both the indoor and outdoor area were kept very clean! The food was ok. Bloody Mary 10/10Monkey bread 7/10Breakfast burrito 5/10- had sour cream drizzled all over the outside of it so it was super messy to eat. Biscuits and gravy 4/10- were small portioned and was mid.

We stopped in on a Saturday for an early dinner - pro tip: make a reservation before 5:30pm! The system won't let you make same day rezzies after 5:30pm. We were willing to wait the 20 minute estimated time since we'd been here before and loved it! After 30 min of waiting I checked-in with the hostess and she told us we were still on the waitlist and would be seated after all the reservations were seated. It seemed a bit weird because we the online reservations are set for every 30 min and there's a 10 min grace period. We started looking at other restaurants when they let us know our table was ready.Once we sat down, everything went smoothly and the food was amazing. I got the chicken pot pie and was so impressed by the portion size, the price for the entree, and how sweet our waitress was. There is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Next time I'll have to make a reservation before 5:30 to make sure we don't have a long wait!

I've been to both the Bloomington & SLP Hazelwood locations and the Tonka Bay was my favorite experience! Mainly due to the great service we received, but the food and drinks were also great. We shared the calamari, Szechuan green beans, and a small Caesar for apps. For our entrees we enjoyed the poke bowl, chicken bowl, and Margherita pizza - all 5/5! I highly recommend any location, and especially Tonka Bay, for a fun night out with friends or family. Moderate pricing- for a few drinks, apps, and 3 entrees our total came to just over $100.

MI always order the scallop offering from here when I'm in MN. There was a very rich flavor and was cooked to perfection, I have never had a bad experience with the food here. Service is always friendly, with a lot of worker helping run orders and clean tables. It does get loud in here because of how busy it gets, but that's a great thing. Get the dessert flight, it's worth every calorie.

This may be the go to restaurant in Minnesota. We went to the to la location and it was beautiful inside and out! The service was phenomenal and even took care of our large group of personalities and asks!Each and every dish we all ordered was amazing in its own way! It's crazy how much we ranted and raved after leaving. MAKE SURE you get the pork chops! It was the best pork chops all 10 of us said we ever had and even order a second order so we could share it!

We loved everything about our first experience at Hazelwood! Our food was spectacular, service was great, atmosphere was pleasant as it wasn't too loud to easily converse. We enjoyed the artichoke dip and chips. There was a bit of a kick but we enjoyed it. The prime rib sandwich was our least favorite dish but was still good. The walleye was great and was accompanied by mashed potatoes instead of rice. The pork chop with apples and smoked gouda hash browns was delicious. Finally the scallop risotto was delightful. We'd recommend this restaurant and will be going back again!
