Stayed here and someone took a chunk of their driveway to my car. Hotel says it is not their responsibility.
By the way we looked and there was never any maintenance going on at all the whole night.

It's a decent place to stay in Hastings, within walking distance of Dugarel's. The rooms are a bit tired, and a bit dark, but overall clean and fine for a night's stay.

HOCKEY TEAMS STAY AWAY!!!Our entire team stayed here for our hockey tournament. This hotel is horrible to hockey teams! Hockey teams stay away!!!!!! There were other teams staying there to and they got treated the same way. They were extremely mad about our kids making noise or having fun. Which is what happens at any tournament boys or girls teams! They would chase them around constantly yelling the girls and they did the same with us adults. Then they closed the pool an hour early that Friday saying no kids anymore, because they didn't like the kids and the noise. Then because of Friday they turned around Saturday and closed it two hours earlier with typed notes on the pool door and elevators stating no kids after 9pm. Friday the team families had ordered multiple individual pizzas, so Saturday they refused to sell pizzas because they had to make to many the night before for the teams(not sold out, just didn't want to make them)They set early times the second night to make the girls stay in their rooms and chased one of our girls out of the hallway at night back into a room she was in with other team mates. So she was scared and had to call her mom to come walk her between rooms to go back to her own room. They were all over us adults for gathering in the area outside the pool room and then we moved to the room to eat in and they kept on us adults about noise and set times we could be out till to and kept reminding us rudly! The hotel it self wasn't even that nice or clean, box springs had stains all over in multiple rooms. Since rooms tge bathtubs were peeling and bathrooms were gross. One mom said she had to even hover using the toliet she was so grossed out! Some rooms had old kind of sketchy microwaves and fridges. One mom said her sheets in one bed had human hairs all stuck in the sheets and refused to use that bed! And there were teenagers in rooms across from us smoking weed and stinking up the hallways to!

The pool smells like death. Need more pillows in each bed. Room needs to be colder. And need more food for breakfast.

Stayed here for a wedding. Woke up to find someone had taken a chunk of their parking lot and smashed my window and door with it. Hotel claims they have no responsibility for this. They also don't have any security cameras, so sleep well knowing if anything happens, they will wash their hands. See you in small claims court!

When my great-uncle Kermit passed away (yeah, "Kermit" - my people hail from Norway - wanna step outside?) we stayed at this small hotel in Hastings, not far from Minneapolis-St. Paul. It's a simple place on first glance, but it does have Internet access and a pool. When you're traveling with children and just need a comfortable bed to crash in after hours of Prairie Home Companion-like company, this is it. Only about $75 per night for the gang.

Great location. Connecting rooms available - bonus for families! The lobby and hallway do smell strongly of stale cigarette smoke, but our rooms did not. Furnishings are dated and a bit worn. Good coffee at breakfast, though the offerings were slim. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Friendly staff.

We got a room for after a wedding and the stay was pleasant and the continental breakfast was carb loaded; all in all it was a nice hotel for a night away. Also, we got a king suite with a jacuzzi tub for two, that was the best unexpected perk. :)

This hotel is so old, run down, poorly taken care of and dirty. Half the lights in the pool are burned out and they don't have anyone replacing them. Our toilet wasn't working upon arrival, and they told us to come to the desk and get a plunger and good luck. What the heck? This isn't my toilet it's your job to fix it as the hotel. You feel as if you could get a fungus in your own bathroom in the rooms and the pool is so gross. The customer service reps at the desk are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. They've been so snippy and rude. Absolutely will not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Our hockey association booked a block of time well in advance (along with another team, I am assuming). There were many issues for our team from missing hotel reservations to room changes last minute, and so on. With the hotel knowingly booking the blocks one would assume they would put the teams on like one end of the hotel to not disturb others. Well, they didn't. As most know hockey girls can get a bit loud (even with us parents scolding for it) and constantly getting yelled at by the front desk even at 6pm for being too loud was very frustrating. The rudeness of front desk staff was unbelievable. They even had the nerve to fight amongst each other in front of us guests. The final straw was when the evening girl was leaving, she hollered at the other girl that "the pool room was a disaster". Our team was the only ones in there at the time along with another family (not in our block). It literally was NOT a disaster, we kept everything clean and continuously cleaned our area. The most disrespectful hotel I've ever stayed at! Also, as others stated, the beds were hard and yes we had a double queen room.
