Harriet & Alice has everything you need for knitting. The store employees are very knowledgeable and the yarn and accessories are plentiful. So many beautiful yarns and lots of things you never knew you needed to make your knitting experience the best!

Such a cute shop!! Tucked away in Edina, Harriet and Alice has a great selection of yarns and crafting tools. I stopped by to buy some yarn for my crocheting, and easily found some that fit my price point and quality I was looking for. They truly have every yarn possible here. Every color, type, size, quality... Plus the staff is so sweet and helpful! Can't wait to stop by again soon to buy more yarn

magical experience for any fiber artist !! beautiful shop with wonderful staff :-) store was MUCH bigger than i first thought , with a gorgeous stock of yarn . fell in love with the nature inspired dyed yarn, left with some amazing sunset-esque 40% alpaca , will be going again in the future !!

I have been searching for a shop like this for years. All the specialty yarn stores were located in less than convenient spaces. I was delighted to see there was one located now at the 50th in France. Parking is easy as there is a lot right by. The hours do have opportunity to improve, but they are very new so they are still gaining traction. I stopped in today when they were open to take a look at the shop. The quality of their yarn is magnificent! If you are looking to do a quality piece this is the type of yarn you want to use. They can even wind it for you too. While talking with them, I learned they have classes as well to help define the skills and maybe learn a new technique. They also have a group, but I didn't write it down and i don't see it on their website. Regardless, I will definitely be back!

What a hidden treasure! I am so excited that I found such a cute "crochet friendly" shop hidden away in downtown Edina. I also was excited to discover Harriet & Alice during the 2019 Yarn Shop Hop.They were moderately priced and had some incredibly unique merchandise that I haven't in other local yarn shops before! See my snaps! Also excited to learn they have a nice selection of enamel pins, especially Harry Potter ones! I will be returning to this gem sooner rather than later!

Came in here to look for a sock kit and the ladies working here were SO helpful, gave me a free pattern and written notes and tips. Amazing selection of yarns and really reasonable prices. Highly recommend

What a cute little shop. Plenty of selection and friendly staff. Cute little gifts. A bit hard to find, it's down an alleyway from the Main Street. Look for the orange sign. Love the name. The cults little tote bag is perfect for... my niece Harriet !

Fantastic Service and great product. We weren't standing there lost for more than 3 minutes before a VERY knowledgeable service person came to our rescue. The beautiful colors of all the yarns was so beautiful.

Cute yarn shop n nice selection of yarns. Was disappointed when they would not wind the yarn on weekend. Both workers were sitting and knitting. If they had been busy I would have understood. For this reason I need to give a lower rating.

I live over 500 miles from this store. I visited Harriet and Alice last summer while visiting my son in Minnesota. The store is well stocked, neat and staff is very friendly.Last Friday (1/06/23) I was ready to start of new project. I called the store. Kate was super friendly and helpful. She pulled me several color combinations, texted them to me. I chose my favorite. This was Friday afternoon - This morning (Tuesday) the yarn was in my mailbox. It likely was delivered on Monday.I don't have a yarn store in my town. Harriet and Alice is "my" yarn store!
