Hangry Joe's Inver Grove Heights Hot Chicken & Wings

A new place in IGH I've been wanting to try. Nice set up. I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy at all. I had 2 flavors for the wings. Spicy BBQ wings and Spicy Garlic Soy. Both were excellent choices. My only complaint is the wings could've cooked a little longer. The waffles fries were cooked a little too long but still enjoyable. The coleslaw was excellent. Don't forget to get extra Hangry sauce it's the truth and a perfect compliment to the waffle fries or the chicken. Don't miss out on this place. I was very surprised the food was this good.

So I was very excited for this place. I love spicy food and decided to try a few things. They have a parking lot so easy to park and go in.Walk in and no one really greeted me or anything, maybe because you don't order from them. You have to get in the machine and order your food and I'm not a big fan of this due to errors. I ordered my food for there, they brought it in boxes. There was certain sauces they were out of that I didn't know until after I had already paid.The food itself was hot and made fresh, but I just wasn't a big fan. Didn't really seem like what I've seen online. Everything had some spice but not much flavor.It was very clean inside and plenty of tables for seating. I went when it had first opened, so I hope things have maybe changed some and I wouldn't mind giving it one more chance. .

Yum, yum, yummy!! This chicken had me wanting more!! Oh wait, let me go back to the ambiance, this is a quaint whole in the wall location, probably seating for like 20 folks maybe. Chicken was crispy and spicy even in mild. I would go down a spice if eating on an empty stomach, unless you don't mind a lil' burn later! The service was just okay, you can order at the machine or she can take your order directly. Both works, but if someone places and order directly with her and you are still at the kiosk, sorry pal you lost the battle of the line! It's clear on the other side of town for me, but very tasty!! I can't want to go back!! Pro tip: There is plenty of parking in the lot!

Was just feeling in the mood for chicken and wanted to give the new-ish place a try. I was actually pleasantly surpised that it was quite good! They only really do hot chicken here, but serve it in a variety of ways; wraps, sandwiches, salads, tenders. The heat seems to be baked into the breading here and also some sauce. I just got a medium and I was fine with that. The fry sauce here is excellent.Only things I didn't like were the very limited seating and the wait time for food was a bit longer than I expected. Otherwise, great new place in IGH!

Very good, but a little pricy. Love the waffles and funnel cake sticks, they compliment the chicken very well. The chicken and hangry sauce are both pretty good, I'd say they're a valid rival in Minneapolis' hot chicken market right now.One thing, I'd recommend to steer clear of the milkshakes. I got a chocolate one and it tastes like regular Hershey syrup. Save yourself $8 and make it at home.Ambiance is cute and clean inside with lots of seating options despite the restaurants small size. Staff is friendly and helpful in making menu choices.

Ordered for pickup and it was ready and waiting by the time I got there (about 15 minutes). It wasn't busy at all with no other customers in the store. The staff seemed friendly for the minute I was in there grabbing our food & drink. The food was decent, tasty, portion sizes are great. My problem and why it is a 3/5 was due to me ordering the Hangry hot or whatever their hottest spice level & another mild & them being in mislabeled boxes. My 11 year old daughter got the spiciest one and I got hers, thankfully it's no where near as spicy as Dave's Hot Chicken or we would have likely been much more upset. But even so, that's a pretty big mistake to make. I would be willing to try them again, as I stated the staff were friendly & the food was good, hopefully it was just a one off mistake.

The first few bites were Ok, There was this weird Yellow-green goo leaking out of my chicken. The sauce served with chicken tenders left my stomach sour and now I have food poisoning.

Our first time eating there. We ordered two #4 Combos. One was the Dry Rub, No Heat and the other was Soy Garlic. Unfortunately, they were out of the requested Lemon Garlic. Coleslaw was good, side pickles were delicious, waffle fries (not pictured) are seasoned well and the wings were fine. Dry rub wasn't your typical dry rub- but still good. Good service and 2 kiosks for quick ordering. They gave us a coupon for a small wait and for being out of the Lemon Garlic sauce. We will go back and try the chicken sandwiches and other menu items!

The wings are huge and I way over ordered. I ordered to go but would probably be better if dinning in. Wings got pretty soggy on the drive home. All that being said, super good after some extra time in the air fryer

Ordered the chicken and waffles and 6 piece. Chicken was fresh and well seasoned. Waffles were warm and had a nice crunch. Will return
