I loved the atmosphere at Groundswell! There's 3 separate rooms in the cafe but it was a bit packed (on a Tuesday morning around 11am). I ordered a latte and banana bread. Both were delicious! Customer service was excellent. Free street parking is easy to find right outside the cafe. Overall rating: 8/10

The staff at groundswell was so welcoming, patient and kind, I had no idea what to order and they provided some great recommendations, their specialty coffee menu has really creative drinks! I got the orange mocha latte and have been wanting to get back there to have another! The vibe of the place is very homey and welcoming. Would be a great place to work or meet with a friend to catch up

Groundswell is one of my favorite local coffee shops. They have fun rotating drink specials, a large selection of pastries & baked goods, plus a great food menu. The cafe itself is cute with a large outside seating area, plus plenty of tables inside. The staff have always been great when I've been there as well. I typically order the breakfast sandwich but decided to branch out today & got the avocado toast. The bread it's served on is SO good; fluffy & perfectly toasted & buttery. There was a healthy amount of avocado, plus some really good toppings that I didn't expect (I should've read the ingredients lol). This was a fun twist on avocado toast with a bit of spice. My husband ordered the ham & gruyere melt & we split the side of loaded sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious!

The perfect, cozy neighborhood coffee shop! Delicious pastries, scrumptious meals (the breakfast burrito is a personal favorite) and friendly staff! Groundswell also hosts a variety of markets and community events. Prices are very fair and comparable to any chain coffee shop with the added perk of supporting a neighborhood business that supports the community.

If you enjoy waiting 35-50 mins for a breakfast sandwich, then this is your place. Even if you get someone to answer the phone, which is extremely rare, they still will have you waiting extremely long, once you get there, at the "ready time". No online ordering options on their website. Yes it's great food and drinks, but customer service, ordering options, and willingness to answer a phone, or take an order online are the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. And this isn't a one time issue here, we are taking about the last 5 years, to this morning right now.

A cute cafe with plentiful street parking! I was looking at cafes that were opened last 5pm + had vegan options and after awhile I decided on this one!I only got the matcha latte with oat milk (a bit too sweet but still good) their food items though looked very good. They have lots of indoor seating, I was afraid it would've been busy but surprised it wasn't. Along with some outdoor seating. Came here to study and enjoy my stay here, although there was an off smell that bothered me for a bit but then got over it. I can definitely see myself coming back here in the future.

Groundswell is so lovely! First impression was warm and inviting. Lots of tables and room to sit on your own or with a group, perfect. The place just feels laid back and that is reinforced by the low-key and lovely staff. After perusing the baked items at the counter, the printed menu, and the wall menu - I gave my order to a friendly staff member at the counter who answered my first-timer questions and clarified my order. They bring your order to you if you're dining in. I brought my order marked back to my table and my matcha latte came out quickly - hot matcha latte with vanilla and lavender, FANTASTIC! I also had avocado toast unaltered from the menu listing and it was really yummy, I ate it fast and I forgot to take a picture, haha! Overall, I'll be back when I'm in St Paul!
