Green Haven Golf Course

We are Easter buffet here, 3-31-2024, for the first time. Our reservation was at 2:00pm, the last time slot available for a 3:00pm end / closing time.Price was $49.99 each. Very high priced! And to me, was not worth this kind of money.It seemed very organized and it was smooth. We didn't wait very long to be seated. It felt spacious, but that could've been because we are the end of it.The desserts were very scarce at this time. Not being replenished either.I missed having mashed potatoes and gravy. No corn or beans. Prime rib was the best.A big yuck complaint of mine, yet tables were not wiped off after each guest!!!Very unsanitary and disgusting and gross!!!All they did was lay a cloth napkin over their table cloth . Yuck. It was gross.We had food crumbs leftover from the party of people before us. There was a long black beard type hair on the table! There was a spill. It had spots of grime. I just didn't want to even touch the table at all. I didn't want to set my plate on my napkin covering all this nasty from before me! Ish! It was very dirty.Even on a cloth tablecloth you have to wash it off.So, gross tables and the price was just too high.We will try somewhere else next year.

I've played Green Haven Golf Course (which abuts Greenhaven Road, go figure) twice as part of large outings. The course has been in good shape both times, with green fairways but some burnt out areas around tees and high-use areas. The greens are receptive and surprisingly quick, presenting enough contours that some pin positions are challenging to chip to.All in all, this is a fairly straightforward layout. There's a long Par 5 around a large lake that presents several risk-reward shots. The Par 3's can be pretty easy with a front pin, but the greens are large enough that a back pin calls for 1-3 more clubs. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, although I don't believe I ever saw a ranger on the course. The pro shop is pretty well stocked, and the snack bar offers a number of craft beers along with limited grilled menu items.This would be a great course to play a relaxing round of golf (if such a thing really exists!).

This place is a joke. Allow 6somes. Blue jeans everywhere. Terrible pace of play. Cash only with the bev cart. 2 carts per 4some no matter the context. My final straw was being forced out 35 mins before my tee time for a reason that went unexplained.

Q Fanatic BBQ is nearby the golf course, so my friend recommended that we hit it. It was a perfect Minnesota fall day, about 65 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. We paid our $20 for 9 holes, and started about 10:35 AM on a Sunday during Vikings season. The course was immaculate for a public course, I was really impressed. The clubhouse looked like it had a great bar, and I think the have banquets and it looked like a brunch was going on as well.I shot a 73 for 9 holes, but I did get one bogey on hole 8, a par 3.One complaint, we went to hole 9 instead of 5 on accident, so I think we screwed up the system, it seemed like all of the hole signs were placed in goofy places. We finished hole 9 after hole 4, and we were like, "Why are we at the clubhouse now?" We trudged back to hole 5 and I think it all worked out okay.We could be just big morons though!

Greenhaven has a Sunday Brunch at there restaurant Haven's Point Bar & Grille from 9:30 AM to 2 PM which I decided to check out today. I wasn't blown away by the buffet but overall it was fairly good. All of the food items were hot and kept fresh. They also had a omelet station which the omelet was even brought over to me so I didn't have to wait while it was being made, I have never been offered that at other buffets before so I thought that was a nice touch. My server Lanesha was very friendly and professional. The breakfast potatoes were fantastic and was my favorite part of the brunch. Overall hot food, fairly good & friendly service. It also wasn't overly busy and there were plenty of tables set up to accommodate guests of larger parties. If you are looking for something to try maybe after church on a Sunday, the Greenhaven brunch is absolutely worth checking out.

Play on a league here. MUCH better under the new management. Good, fair course, good happy hour!

We hosted an anniversary party at Green Haven golf course this past weekend. We were so happy with the Event Manager, Alex, our bartender, Mo, the food quality and the facility. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Hats off to everyone involved.

This course charged $30 for someone to ride on a cart that is not paying and there is not youth or minor rate. If it is a country club I can accept that but just a ordinary public course. Compared to Refuge and Bunker, it is ways below. New management should be replace.

I can't explain enough how horrible our service was. I went there for all you can eat crab. First order was cold and waterlogged. Figured maybe it was just a bad batch. Had him bring me another order. It was the same thing waterlogged and the crab leg shell was like a rubber. Express this to the waiter and the manager. This was 730 at night they started doing that I could eat crab at 4 o'clock. They said we keep it in the pot to keep it warm. That's not how you cook crab you could actually get deathly sick. The manager went back and made a fresh batch and said that's how the rest will come out. That's not what happened. They brought us another order of waterlogged crab legs it was like a sieve. Our entire table was covered with water. Try to expressed to them again about the crab. Was met with a really bad attitude to the point where the manager wanted to get into a physical argument. He tried to say they make all their crab fresh to order when 10 minutes before he said they've been sitting in the pot since 4 o'clock. Later that evening was in my bathroom all night. My business partner also was projectile vomiting and in the bathroom all night as well. There's a lot more I could say but not trying to make this a super long review.

Over the last month i have had 4 meals at this venue. All BAD! From cold vegetables and mash potatoes to raw bloody steak! Wait staff was rude and crabby! Do NOT book an event with this catering company!!
