This is a mixed review so I'll address this in two parts:1) FOOD (6.5 / 10)The food is about average for a takeout restaurant. It is hot and fresh and has an OK flavor profile. I would think that most people would find the food satisfactory or tasty. The wonton soup has a mild chicken flavored broth but the wontons lack a delicate wonton wrapper and are more like the defensive linemen of wonton soup (big and bulky with a thick exterior). The pan fried dumplings are tasty (about a 7 / 10) and the fried chicken wings. The entries - lo mein, almond chicken, General Tso's chicken, Mongolian beef - to name a few - are satisfying but aren't worth making a special trip if you live more than 10 mins away.2) SERVICE ( 1.5 / 10)The Service. The Service. The Service....is....really really bad. The employees have a dedicated table in the restaurant where they sit and play on their phones, eat food, do food prep, review food tickets. Now, let's be clear. The management accepts and endorses this behavior. If you do need a drink refill and yell over to the table "hey can I get a refill," they will oblige. They do bring your food promptly to your table. However, it just looks really really really really bad when employees are sitting at a table in the dining room socializing and engaged in their phones. (A Big SHAME ON YOU to the management). The management would be wise to place a privacy screen in front of the table because, again, this simply leaves a horrible impression with the customers. They also tally the receipts by hand so most of the time the math is correct but I have found a few errors. This restaurant will likely stay in business as long as there is no viable competition but if another asian restaurant opens up with comparable or slightly better food and customer service that isn't on life support then this restaurant will be doomed to the St. Peter Restaurant Graveyard. Here's their fortune cookie: RESTAURANT THAT TAKE PATRON FOR GRANTED END UP CLOSING!

I enjoyed my dining experience. I usually order the Lemon Chicken with white rice. The egg rolls are very tasty and always ask for a side of hot mustard. I wife thought the broccoli chicken was good, but has eaten better.

Really tasty takeout Chinese! I love the General Tso's chicken and my boyfriend is a big fan of the beef and broccoli. Portions are generous and we nearly always have leftovers. Service has always been very friendly and helpful; the young lady I spoke with on the phone for our delivery order was super nice and informative. Great Wall is definitely a great St. Peter staple for takeout/delivery!

I was hoping this would be my go to Chinese restaurant, but unfortunately it wasn't as good as I hoped. Staff was friendly but it seems as though they do more take out business than dine in. Right as we walked in they asked if we were picking up food. We ordered egg rolls, general tso's chicken, bbq pork fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. Egg rolls were of the skinny variety, sauce was ketchup based. Both Chicken dishes were ok but again the sweet and sour chicken sauce was ketchup based. BBQ pork in the fried rice was a little on the grey side and the rice had absorbed a lot of oil (like t had been sitting there awhile. I'm a bit critical because I'm a transplant from Chicago and this is not what I'm used to. Also, portion sizes are smaller than what Chicago restaurants serve and the Chicago pricing is a little cheaper. I think rural ethnic restaurants should be more genuine and give their customers the real deal. By the way, my grand mother who was a restaurant owner told me about how Chinese restaurants cut costs and time by using ketchup in their sweet and sour sauce. I'm not a fan.

This is hands down one of my top Chinese restaurants. It is smaller but that gives it a nice personal feel to it. The food is always amazing no matter what I order. However the staff in the front seem to be not as caring about their job as people before them were. I took my family to this restaurant to share with them the amazing food, but was very displeased to see the staff sitting on their phones the whole evening and not checking in on us. We had empty water glasses that stayed like that until we had to get the attention of another waitress. Over all amazing restaurant just needs better front staff how know how to work with people.
