We've been going to Great River Bowl every Black Friday for the past three years now. We've never had a bad experience! But this time it was really cool to see that they upgraded their lines to have a more digital/interactive experience. You can even change the theme of the scoreboard TV - something extra that was cute. They did change so they charge you by the hour now, but that's actually kind of nice if you have a smaller group because you can get through about two games in an hour (for four people). As for food and drink, our waitress was very on top of coming to our lane and checking on us. We ordered some drinks (the blood mary were actually pretty good) and an appetizer sampler. No complaints! We'll be back again for Black Friday 2020!

I have been coming here to eat and bowl. I have used the pro shop too by the way and love it. My only complaint is the guy running leagues. I signed up and no one ever connected with me only to be told at the pro shop that there were people looking for team mates. Other than that 5 star food and service during my visits to bowl

I cannot speak to the food, as we didn't have any, but I can speak to the bowling. We went here for the first time, as a family, and had an enjoyable evening bowling. The alley wasn't too busy. There were fun pop tunes playing. We rented our shoes and played one game. The automated alley and screens keep score for you. It was all-around, family fun, for a total of $47. A little steep, but still worth it. Weeknights you can bowl for $2 after 9 pm. That's a much better deal. This bowling alley also has a special room that looks like it can be rented. There's also a pub/bar where you can order pub food and drinks. Both the pub and the rental room are nicely decorated with trendy, warm colors. They look like decent spaces to spend some time with friends. After 10 pm, the bowling alley has Extreme Bowling with special lights and glowing items. It costs a lot more, but it's popular with the teens/young adults. The bowling alley was moderately loud, with the other bowlers and the music, but still not too bad. It was what you expect when you go bowling. If you're looking to do something a little different, yet fun, with your family, consider bowling here. It's a clean place that will provide a fun activity for all of you. They have bumpers on some of the lanes for those under age 11.

Our server was TRASH. Didn't come to our table until I stared him down. Didn't give us our drinks. We canceled our food & left. Can't give you the server's name because he was too trash to introduce himself. He's bald, skinny, tall and with tattoos. Will never return

Overall we have a great time every time we go bowling here. Whether it's with adults or children we all have fun. The staff is friendly and helpful throughout every step of the process. I also really enjoy that kids bowl 2 free games daily during the summer- a great deal when you're scrambling on rainy days! No complaints on the bowling portion. I do have a less positive review of dining while bowling. A few times we have been bowling the server in the bowling alley didn't even check on us, ask if we wanted a drink or food, and plain ole avoided eye contact which was frustrating. A few times we've had to walk into the pub to order which isn't a huge deal, it's just annoying to have to do so. I wish there was more consistency with the servers I the bowling alley. The pizza at the pub is delicious, the thick crust is chewy yet has a crunch on the bottom just as I like it. Would highly recommend the pizza while bowling, a 12 inch one topping pizza was about $15.

Drinks were messed up. Fries were flavorless. My friend got blue cheese instead of tarter sauce. The meat is overcooked and the cups weren't washed very well. Put it this way I think I got food poisoning.

We went there to celebrate my sons birthday. We spent over 250 dollars on food bowling and beverages, and we had to be our own waiters. Bunch of young waiters and waitress standing around in the corner between the empty bar and bowling area just chit chatting. The manager who was bartender at the time came out to our table and had apologized for the service and explained she talked to the staff about the poor service and told us that upper management would know about it.If it wasn't for the manager checking in on us whe we could (which was once but that is for then the servers did) i would give zero stars
