This place is really cool. It is a lot smaller than the Minnesota's Largest Candy Store in Jordan, MN, but still offers a variety of options. PARKING: It is quite small. It is on a service road off of old highway 10. SERVICE: The staff members are professional, nice, approachable, and helpful. They were able to pull a 1919 pony keg from the back room for me. Prior to going into the back room, he also let me know the price before tax. The environmemt is casual. It seems to be an attraction for kids and young adults when my husband and I were there on a Saturday night at 7pm. Lots of candy options, they have non-food products too like coasters, board games, and more. They also have an ice cream shop with booths available. They have chocolates in a glass case at the register. Overall, a really cool place and I would come back now that I know this is a lot closer to home, like 40 miles closer, compare to Minnesota Largest Candy Store.

Such a fun candy shop in Bloomington! They've got some board games, ice cream, and TONS of soda options too. The $5 candy buffet was such a treat, with loads of gummy options.

It's been years since I've brought my daughter to this store. Last time we were here, we brought a sandwich bag of quarters to play the pin all machines. She's older now and doesn't remember anything. I told her about the $5 candy buffet and she got curious. We entered into the ice cream store side, very colorful store and unlimited types of floats they can make with every kind of soda they sell. Pinball room is still there at the end of the store. Rows and stacks of different sodas. And candies filled the other side. This would be a perfect place for someone with a sweet tooth.

Stopped in for an old fashioned ice cream float. Elevated my float choice with buttercream soda - yum! There were samples of two sodas that they bottle in house and the flavors took me straight back in time. Very nostalgic. Walked in for an ice cream float and walked out with a pack of soda, chocolates, licorice, truffles. So many options to choose from that I know where to come when I'm hunting for that unique candy or soda flavor or want that trip down memory lane.

We ran across this by pure chance on errands, and HAD to stop. This is an outstanding place to take your kids for a good behavior/major academic achievement/sports team win kind of reward. It is, as you would guess, all sorts of obscure candy, from candy bars you just won't find most places, to weird gummies, to, well, lots of things shaped like poop for some reason. Also lots of tiny fidget toys that honestly would make this a good place to shop for your ADHD kiddo in your life. The star is probably the $5 candy buffet, where you get a box and can fill it with whatever you want from a set of dispensers. But those dispensers are GOOD. It's not just the usual peach rings and gummy sharks. You can get Reeses, M&Ms, mallo cups, chocolate pretzels... the GOOD stuff. (Yeah, OK, chocoholic, #sorrynotsorry.) They're still hopped up on Halloween, but we will come back!

This place is a hidden gem. It takes you back in the day. I love the vibe of this place. They have all different kinds of sodas and candies. They also serve milkshakes. The music is from the 50s. The parking is right in front of the store. The staff were friendly. I got the root beer soda and it was a delicious.

This was a last minute stop my husband suggested and we were so blown away. We've lived in the area our whole lives but have never stopped in before. It used to be called a Blue Sun Soda and now it's Grandpa Joes Candy shop. It is worth checking out!! They have a small arcade, an ice cream and hand made soda bar, any bottled soda flavor you can imagine, and candy galore. They were bottling and labeling soda in their factory area while we were visiting, and that was cool to see. We had so much fun walking around and looking at everything. The staff were super nice and welcoming, you can tell they like their job. The parking lot has ample room, the shop is spacious, and it was such a fun environment for all ages! We had a lot of fun and it was a great place to round out date night, but would also be fun for bringing the kiddos as well. Worth checking out!!
