I'm so glad I stopped by the Grand Ole Creamery! I was having a hard time deciding on a flavor (they have so many delicious options!), but our server was super helpful and patient. They let me sample a few flavors and made great recommendations. The best part? The generous serving size! You get a great amount of ice cream for the price, which is amazing. I left feeling satisfied and happy, with a big smile on my face.Definitely worth a visit (or two, or three...)! The Grand Ole Creamery has won me over with their fantastic service and delicious ice cream. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors! The place was pretty busy, we had to queue for our ice cream. But that's a good sign that it's a good place right? Defo worth the wait!

Grand Ole CreameryLove my stop in here!I had the split one scoop (massive portion) and got the Black Hills Gold & Coffee break ice cream. Both were decent - nothing too special or over the top good. For the quality, I thought the price was quite high ($8 for 1 scoop). The atmosphere and service were really great though!

Great variety of flavors. Taro was wonderful, tasted very similar to pandan flavor. The marshmallow man was full of whole, mini-marshmallows in a soft and wonderful way. The lime sherbet was very artificial tasting and for the first time ever, tasted too much like kitchen cleaner; in a bad way. The s'mores didn't really have that familiar s'more's flavor. Coconut chip was nice in flavor. Black cherry, can never be wrong. The shop was quiet, a bit dark inside but nice and cool with the AC. More than a handful for sidewalk tables available and right nearby a few different food restaurants, if you wanted to grab dinner beforehand. The kids behind the counter were friendly and had a good rapport with each other.

Went mid-day so parking was easy and with the nice weather the outdoor seating was a great way to bask in some sun and ice cream. Eating ice cream outside though did melt the ice cream quickly. Service was prompt and staff was friendly for an afternoon lull in customers. It's a bit dark inside especially compared to the contrast to BIGE that's connected through an arch in the wall. I should have sampled the flavor first but went with it since I love lemon flavored anything. The raspberry lemon sorbet was a bit lackluster and needed more lemon flavoring for me.

A staple of the twin cities for the last 40 years! Delicious homemade ice cream and waffle cones. $8 for a single in a waffle cone. $7 for a single sugar/cake cone or bowl. Or pay a $1 extra if you want to split between two flavors. If you really can't decide you can get the 5 flavor sampler. The staff is younger, but very nice and gets the job done! Cute malt shop vibes inside.

The ice cream was delicious. The staff wasn't very friendly or efficient. They were all over the place taking our order and they didn't seem to care. While I was waiting for my monkey sundae one of the employees was eating just casually. The other started flirting with a guy that walked inside in and stopped making my sundae. My family received their order and I kept waiting for mine. The girl finally told me that they didn't have all the ingredients for the sundae. It would have been nice if she would have told me sooner instead of having me wait for a long time. Like I said the ice cream was good. We all enjoyed it very much. The place is very casual and it's small. You can sit in the restaurant that's attached to it.

The single scoop was huge!!! They have a ton of flavors to choose from, some classic some more unique. I wish they had listed out what was in each flavor as opposed to just the name. Hard to know if there are nuts or even what the actual flavor is on some of them. Not too much seating but it's winter so it was pretty quiet in there.

The service here is always excellent, and have very unique flavors. There is plenty of street parking, so it's easy to get there. This place has one of my favorite Ice Creams, which is Taro. It's perfect as it feels refreshing, very creamy, and is not too sweet. I also tried cookie dough and chocolate chips. The cookie dough and chocolate chips felt very similar in flavor, but the chocolate chips were a little bit too hard to enjoy.

This place was on my list for a long time and I got to visit this finally. Loved the place and how they decorated it. As soon as I enter it smelled like waffle heaven. Love it that they make there waffle on site and fresh. Coming to the flavors I tried most of the flavors and loved them. We took a 5scoop sampler and that's the best way to have multiple scoops you tried. Strawberry cheese cake was my fav and there are others too. Always recommend this place.

Pricey ice cream but nice size single scoop & good waffle cones. Both times I've been, they were out of brownies! (Hint: if you run out that often, maybe you should make more?!?)
