Gran Plaza

Came here with my fiancé. We aren't originally from Minnesota so finding Mexican food that feels authentic has been a struggle. Must say the horchata, and food was Fantastic and had so much flavor! We can tell food was authentic ! The service was wonderful I can't wait to come back.

Was out doing some shopping and saw this place.. so had to try! Chips were served warm (yes, please!) came with salsa as well. Salsa was just ok. We got queso as a starter as well. I mean you can't go wrong. It was good, quite watery though. My meal (as pictured) was so unique and delish. It made for great leftovers for lunch today too! Husband got a chimichanga and he loved it. We will be back!

It isn't in the best location for a restaurant being in a strip mall. The food is good, but there is something about the chicken that I don't particularly enjoy. Beverages are always filled and they're not shy to give you the chips and salsa at the beginning of your visit.

Surprisingly authentic and tasty Mexican food in the suburbs. Chili verde burrito was delicious.

All around, an excellent dining experience. Fast, friendly service. We went there early afternoon. I had a lunch burrito that was big and delicious. My son, who is more of a Mexican food aficionado than I am, had the molcajete and said it was some of the best he's ever had. The iced tea was fresh and refilled regularly.

Lived in Northfield for 2 years and tried Gran Plaza for the first time last week. Already been back for seconds! Great spot for what seems like authentic Mexican cuisine!

Very yummy! Best Mexican in town in my opinion. Good service and easy parking, clean restaurant.

Stopped here for a "snack" while traveling - such an amazing place! Service was impeccable and food was delicious and beautiful, too! We will be back to this hidden gem.

Working in cannon fall for a week or so but staying in Northfield. Been to this Mexican restaurant twice, the first time was really good but the second time I got my food (Agua chillie) the shrimp was taking a long time to cook in the lime juice and it had no flavor

Ate here tonight and had great service! The staff checked on us multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. Our food came out very quickly and the place was clean!
