Goodbye Blue Monday Coffeehouse

Your cute neighborhood coffee shop is how I would describe Goodbye Blue Monday. Drinks are reasonably priced, traditional coffees and a huge selection of teas, ample seatings.It's a great place to stop by and hang out. The noise is minimal, most are here to hang out and study. I love the sofa seatings and self service tea station.

I ordered a hot mocha. It was too hot and super sweet. Tasted like watered down hot chocolate. They were super busy so maybe something got mixed up. The staff was friendly. Seems to be a popular place and the reviews are good, but I want impressed with the espresso. Cute inside.

This place is adorable. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time when you walk into this place. Such cozy vibes. Couches to sit on, comfy chairs, warm lighting...feels so homey. Plus, the coffee is very affordable and also super delicious. I came a bit later in the day, so they were low on baked goods but I managed to snag an oatmeal raisin cookie. It was delicious. Chewy, thick, flavorful. Muah! Chef's kiss. As for coffee, I got an iced latte. Also very good, a bit on the bitter side but adding honey to it helped. I worked remotely here for several hours, and had no issue with the wifi or with finding a plug. It also stayed pretty quiet in the space, which made me feel more comfortable making calls and answering them. Some cafes can be soooo loud, which is good for some things (but not so much for working). I'll definitely be coming back to work here again soon!

I had some time to kill in Northfield. This cute entrance caught my eye and I went inside. It's a little claustrophobic inside with outdated decor but I'm glad I came in - the coffee is outstanding!I had a cup of black coffee and some Highlander coffee beans to go. Staff was friendly and helpful. They ground the beans for me. Northfield is super cute town and worth a visit - and for a good cup of joe - stop here!

I absolutely love Goodbye Blue Monday - it is a perfect place to study, get serious work done, or just relax. The workers are incredibly friendly and their cookies are amazing. Only problem I could mention is that the layout itself makes it so that waiting and ordering can be quite chaotic, but only when it is busy.

I love local coffee shops with eclectic vibes and attitude - and GBBM delivers in spades but they also need to serve tasty coffee with desirable snack options. Again, they deliver. I had my typical quad shot mocha with alternative milk (oat, this time) and was pleased as always. No food this time, but there were tasty looking cookie and bagel options ready for the taking. A personal favorite whenever I'm in the area and worth the stop if your looking for something less mainstream or franchised.

Now, I love - and I mean LOVE - a good local coffee shop, but unfortunately Blue Monday just never delivers. Their coffee is good, but that's the only thing preventing this from being a one star review. The staff seems like they hate it there. I've never experienced more cold, downright disdainful service. The seating is crowded and just not well thought out. And it feels like they got all their chairs and tables at a bad garage sale. Overall, not much I can recommend here. I'd love to see this place get an interior makeover (and a leadership one), because it's falling short of its potential.

Very chill coffee shop right off the Main Street of Northfield. I keep forgetting Northfield is a college town, but one step into this place and you are reminded. Kitschy decor, amateur art, mismatched chairs, hipster baristas, they have it all. Their coffee looks to be roasted and packed on site so it is very fresh and very good. I just tried their black coffee but it was very good. I will definitely be back to chill and get some caffeine when I'm back in the area.

I ordered a large strawberry matcha and an Asiago bagel. Both items came out very quick despite the coffee shop being busy, and it was delicious. My total came out to be $10 which is pretty average for the price of coffee. The shop is very urban and rustic, there are many tables so it would make a nice study spot. I will definitely be coming back to Blue Monday!

Wonderful spiced chai, would come here every so often in the summer and now that I go to school near by super glad I can experience it more.
