Half full - they doubled the cost because they sent another truck and a total of 5 people. I am suing them!
Only filled half the truck because of "speed packs" when I hired them to pack boxes they could stack. I will be suing them.

Good stuff has moved me four times. Until this last one Ive been singing their praises and referring friends for years! Always extremely professional and affordable. This last time changed everything, I'm afraid. For starters, I think it was one guys first day, and they kept training him and showing him how to do things. Fine but should not be on my dime. They didn't prop the door or clear the entryway right away, just slamming the door in their way in and out, until I suggested a prop. Then, instead of just taking the back off my bed and taking it down in two pieces, like every other time GS has moved me, I found them completely taking my bed apart til all the bolts were out and it was in pieces. We were going three blocks with it, WTH? It probably costed me more than the bed was worth to have them take it apart and put it back together. Incidentally, they didn't tighten any of the bolts and it wasn't assembled correctly when they were done, my uncle had to come over and tighten every bolt and fix it. They had one guy at the elevator moving everything in by himself and obviously didn't know how or where to put things. I had to basically move everything. Kitchen boxes in the bedroom closet, etc. every time he asked me where I wanted something he didn't listen to my answer and put it in a different room. I'm sure the job sux so I don't really blame them there. What pi$$ed me off was that they took all this time to wrap plastic storage containers, but not my wooden furniture. There were big chunks taken out of my antique Moroccan table, and they didn't say anything. Nicks in pretty mush all of the wooden pieces, just careless. The worst was a cabinet they had clearly broken and placed my bedroom. The top was completely off of it and the drawer was busted apart so I couldn't open it. I get it, things happen. Not an expensive piece, but they didn't tell me it had broken and now I'm stuck with figuring out what to do with it. I did call to report this. The gentleman who answered was very nice and apologetic. He offered to pick the cabinet up and dispose of it of it the next day. Great! The only problem is I never heard from them again. They never picked up the cabinet. It costed twice what it costed four years ago mainly due to taking my bed apart and the mismanagement of labor at the new place. I will never move with GS again and it kind of breaks my heart. I know nobody gives a sh*t but I feel like they have really gone downhill in terms of quality. My dad owned a moving company for years and I worked for him, so I know what I'm talking about.

I have used Good Stuff Moving in the past (multiple times) and recommended them to friends who have also used them multiple times. I do not recommend companies easily, but this company goes above and beyond.I just moved from MN to MA, and called Brent. He responded with a quick - "we can do it - let me find a driver" Jim, the Director of Ops did the drive. He is where I say they go above and beyond...On Monday, Jim and the crew had the house emptied in no time and loaded. We did a walk through, and coordinated our schedules. He then told me his itinerary and that he would text me each night. I was leaving Tuesday Morning and we both planned on being in MA on Wednesday evening. It went seamless. I heard from Jim each night, and again Thursday morning as he was headed to the new home with my furniture and goods.Like the loading of the truck, the unloading went just as smooth. In the end, not even a glass was cracked, everything was put where I wanted it, Jim was communicating the whole time, and the final price was within the quote. The company is great to work with, the employees are even better. Thanks for your service over the years GSM.

I requested on five occasions (to multiple employees) the photos taken at the Storage Locker. No response. Crickets. Further, an anwoire wasn't assembled after being delivered. Alit to be desired in providing quality customer service from Good Stuff Moving. Perhaps, BAD STUFF MOVING is a motel appropriate name.

We used Good Stuff Moving to help us with a long distance move to California*. Specifically, we had them move and transport all of our belongings to a UHaul facility and then load them into our U-box moving pods on site. We reserved over the phone and had 48 hours to cancel. We reserved the earliest timeframe of the day (7:30 - 8:30am) and they arrived exactly at 7:30. We really appreciated this; moving day always comes with unexpected random delays, so it meant a lot that they were so punctual. They were also very careful with our stuff. They made sure the boxes with our fragile items were secured in the truck so as not to move around. The movers themselves were very experienced and professional. They plastic-wrapped our larger furniture items to protect them while in the U-box pod and worked very efficiently, yet carefully (one mover bringing stuff down, the other loading into the truck). Our very tiny studio apartment in downtown MPLS took them 3 hours total, including travel time to and from our apartment.Reserving over the phone was also very pleasant. The gentleman we spoke to was extremely knowledgable and thorough, and took the time to lay everything out as opposed to just rushing to get us off the phone. From start to finish, we definitely would recommend these folks again!*To clarify, they did not transport our stuff to CA. I believe they are a local moving company, but you should double check the website!

I'm here to back up Jeri R. I had this same exact experience today. Yelled at for asking someone to mask during a pandemic, treated to three lectures about how their movers were not going to wear a mask before walking out rudely. He was wearing a neck gaiter, too, which, if you can read at all, is proven to be worse than not wearing a mask. We asked for his name and he said, "the only sales guy there."The kicker is that they post health policies to protect their people, but won't lift a finger to do the same for a customer. See attached images for that line of hogwash.Brent, the owner, backed up their sales person, which is fine, I suppose, if you want lousy reviews. Lousy customer service and total rudeness won't be rewarded anyway. We have other folks lined up who have no problem masking. They might be good movers, but we'll never find out. I suggest you don't, either

A wonderful experience. Paul gave me a very clear initial quote and instructions and a time frame was scheduled. The movers were prompt, friendly, efficient and very helpful. I moved my father from the third floor to the first floor in his senior facility. Mission accomplished in under two hours without feeling as if they were rushing (while patiently listening to a few instructions I had). Highly recommend!

STAY AWAY! SCAM ARTISTS BAIT AND SWITCH. Quoted 2000 for local move - needed up 3800 when they used "speed packs" that cut the storage in a box truck in half. Matt has to be the rudest person I have EVER Met. I will be suing this company in small claims. Do not use them!

Overall good group/crew, arrived on time and kept a good pace. Two pieces of furniture were damaged and accidents happen. (As far as we know as not all boxes have been unpacked)I did have to advise them to not stack the hutch and cabinet on ends in storage or they'd rack.Customer service stated since it didn't look like the bed frame was deliberately broken it wasn't negligence. WHO deliberately breaks items - accidents happen. The moving company has my number, could have called to hear our side that when the bed frame was dropped it sounded like it was coming through the ceiling. But that would require effort to have customer service. They've been paid so forget the customerWould I hire the crew again - yes Would I ever hire anyone from this company No.Horrible response and take on customer service.
