This place is my GO-TO when I have a potluck to attend and don't have time to cook. Great selection of party tray sized dishes, but my fav is their Beef Lo Mein. The beef is tender and the noodles are always sauced perfectly. I also love their lunch specials. Service is awesome. I just call 20 minutes before I need the order and pick up from their restaurant. I just wish I didn't have to be transferred to three different people each time I want to order the party tray. Once, I ordered online and there was a glitch and they didn't have my order ready when I arrived. So I just call in my orders now. Ambiance is not much, there's just a register and a small waiting area. That's all I need since it's a take out order.

I ordered take out from here in hopes to enjoy a wonton soup. I'm very sorry to say the soup was not good. The wonton wraps were too thick, they were filled with only pork (no ginger, shrimp, or green onion) and were definitely too salty. I also ordered a side of veggies and fried rice (mandatory.) I'm not a fan of the fried rice they have because it's essentially the version that has the frozen mixed vegetables, whereas I like more fresh, full veggies in mine. But I had to pick a rice. The veggies I ordered as a side were okay. Nothing special, drowned in the sweet sauce. Mostly broccoli. The food was hot and well packaged, so that's a plus. But, overall I ordered this meal for the soup and unfortunately I was disappointed.

It was a Friday. It was my last full day of my trip. I had been working in my hotel. It was lunch time. I needed to fetch some grub. I did a search on my Uber Eats app. I found Golden Wok. I was in Eagan and so was this restaurant. I continued my quest for decent Chinese food.I got the following items:- Shrimp with lobster sauce, with an egg roll and Diet Coke- Steamed dumplings (8)The estimated pickup time was fifteen minutes. It was perfect for me to leave the hotel and drive over. This eatery is in a plaza. I had no problem finding it. I parked steps away from the entrance and walked in on a rainy day.It felt like a mom-and-pop shop when I walked it. It felt homey. A man said that he'd be with me shortly. There was another man waiting for his food. The man got his food first. I then showed my pickup details on my phone. I got my food in a paper bag, with a plastic bag over it. I thanked him and left. I got a combo special. I ate everything back at my hotel room.I had the egg roll first. It was crunchy and had a decent amount of veggie filling. I liked it.My Diet Coke was cold. Nice!I had the dumplings next. They were small with little filling in each one. I frankly don't know if it was pork or chicken. It was indistinguishable. It came with dipping sauce that made them taste better.I have been enjoying shrimp with lobster sauce on fried rice from New China in Rochester. It has set the bar high. I had this eatery's version on chicken fried rice. It is definitely not as good at New China's version. What made this dish disappointing was the number of imitation crab chunks that accompanied the shrimp. This dish doesn't need fake crab meat. There were six huge shrimp. Don't sacrifice quality with quantity. This dish would have tasted better without the fakeness. The shrimp were done perfectly. The shrimp were generous in size. The sauce needed more flavour. The mixed veggies in this dish were likely from frozen, but I like them. The chicken fried rice was okay. It tasted a bit bland. It needed more of a sear with crispy bits to provide more flavour.Perhaps I need a different dish that I will love more. I will try another dish next time and see how I feel. As for my go-to Chinese place in Eagan, it's still Ho Ting.(135)

New Chinese takeout/delivery restaurant that recently opened in Eagan. For their grand opening they offer a free 4-piece cream cheese wontons for a $25 purchase or free chicken fried rice for a $40 purchase! We ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, hot and spicy chicken and hot and sour soup. Our order was more than $25 so we got free cream cheese wontons as well. We called to order for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes. There isn't any seating available inside our out so it looks like it's strictly a takeout restaurant.Cream cheese wontons were good. Chicken with garlic sauce was a little on the sweeter side but has a variety of veggies mixed in. Hot and spicy chicken was good but personally it could have been spicier. I added more hot sauce but overall good. Hot and sour soup was satisfying as well. Based on convenience this is an easy takeout dinner and the food fills you up. Prices are actually very reasonable for the quantity you get as well!

I had received their menu in my mailbox, and thought the food sounded pretty bomb! Boy was I wrong! 1. The menu did not have ingredients or any nutritional information. 2. When I placed my order, there was no way of tracking it. Not even a confirmation email.3. The wontons were full of grease. They must not have drained the grease out after taking them out of the fryer.4. My egg foo young had a piece of chicken in it! I am a vegetarian. It was also very bland. And greasy!!Yeah I guess I should've known cheap chinese food wouldn't have been the best.

Well, I'd skip the S7. General Tso Shrimp is not good. The critique is simple. The sauce was really liquidy. It made the undercooked breading soggy and mushy. The properly cooked portions were just soggy. So, I tried debreading the gloppy mess and the shrimp were also not good alone. I did enjoy the rice. The cheesecake was good, but the strawberry sauce tasted very fake. I understand the challenges of shelf stable strawberry sauce, but don't serve it if it isn't tasting close to real... Anyhow, if the store owner reads this, fix your presentation. General Tso is not supposed to be doused in liquid to the batter getting soggy. Let me know if you change it and I'll revise my review. The 3 stars is a gift; deserved 1 or 2

We have gotten take out from here 3 times now. First time was good, but not something to brag about. Second time was actually better so we had our fingers crossed this could be the one! Third time was a charm. Everything was perfectly made and was fantastic. The kids love the mei fun and to be honest, so do I. It's fantastic. We have also tried several other dishes. We aren't a huge fan of the fried rice, but the cheese wontons are probably my favorite around. The little addition of green onion just sets them over the top. We love the triple delight. The shrimp are huge and plentiful. Chicken and mushrooms was great and the kids loved it. The really like the beef and broccoli as well as sweet and sour chicken. 6 year old literally ate the chicken with sauce on the side and 2 veggie spring rolls. He was in heaven. This is by far our go to now. If they made great fried rice I wouldn't have to worry about going anywhere else.

Purchased pork egg foo young and house fried rice. Egg foo young was both under done and burnt, very mushy and lacking any flavor. Fried Rice smelled fishy, burnt onions, and just as flavorless as the egg foo young.

Customer service was rude, cream cheese wontons underdone, and rice tastes like it was cooked in dish water. Won't order here again.
