Food was absolutely delicious, we tried three of the rolls and all of them were fresh, tasty, and had plenty of pieces. You walk up to the counter to order so not much interaction, but the staff were very kind. The store is nice, not super fancy, but great to stop at for lunch or dinner.

Golden Wok feels like it should be Bronze Wok to be honest. We've ordered pick up a couple of times from here and it's always a miss. I don't think we'll be ordered again any time soon. We typically get the lunch special for about $10, you get fried rice and an entrée with each order. I was unimpressed with the fact that you don't get an egg roll or wonton with your lunch special. We've ordered from multiple other Chinese restaurants nearby and they all come with another item. My go to tends to be sesame chicken, the portion size isn't huge but enough for lunch (again, it would be more filling with an egg roll or side). My main issue is there is so much breading to chicken ratio. When you bite into the chicken 9/10 times you'll be getting breading. I assume this helps keep costs low, but it's not what I except when hoping for chicken. I think you could find a couple of things on the menu that are breading free if that bothers you but I think we'll just go elsewhere.

First time ordering from this place, but I did a door dash order from here and I saw the menu. I knew I had to try it. For two people, we ordered 3 sushi rolls and a signature Dragon and Phoenix. First let me say that there was nothing special about the food that really stuck out. It's very similar to a good Chinese place anywhere and that's a good thing. I got what I wanted and it was satisfying. However, this place has some unique dishes that are really not anywhere else. The old man and the sea is a special sushi roll. I haven't seen it before anywhere. Excellent and worth every penny. Dragon and Phoenix sometimes get broccoli mixed in with the General Tso chicken but not here. Either way it's all good. The shrimp and veg side was full of Shrimp. My order was enough to get free egg rolls. Egg rolls were so good that they didn't need sauce. The food that was for the other person in my party was regarded as excellent and worth the trip. We live in the North suburbs. I was doing my gig work in the Southern suburbs. Service was very quick and fast. The ambiance was busy. I believe that I have stumbled upon a unicorn. Places like this don't exist in the north. Or if they do they don't last. Tough week ended with excellent food. Thank you.

We ordered through door dash. It arrived on time and hot. I would appreciate a small description of each dish on the menu. There is no description on their website either. The taste and quality of the food wasn't the best in my opinion. The chicken was poor quality. Some of it had hard, chewy pieces that I had to spit out. The breading was soggy. The taste itself wasn't bad. We enjoyed the Szechuan chicken. The lunch combos were good deals - you get chicken and rice dish around ten bucks and it's a decent amount of food. The lo mein wasn't too bad. The noodles were too thick for my liking though. My favorite thing to get at Golden Wok is the miso soup. It's so good!

I am staying at a hotel by Mall of America and ask the hotel staff if there's a good Chinese place to eat near here that delivers. I was riding my mountain bike today and I happen to fall so my ribs are hurting. I did not want to go out I was not disappointed by this restaurant, however I underestimated the size of their food. Usually in Charlottesville if you order a large egg drop soup you get a normal size bowls of soup however, I got a ginormous container of egg drop soup. The rice was the normal size of rice. This was the only thing disappointing. Cannot say I loved the flavor. The egg rolls were massive. The food is very tasty and I am not disappointing.

The fried rice was actually yellow rice with no vegetables or eggs in it. The shrimp and lobster sauce was a soup and not a gravy. worst Chinese we ever had never again.

We live 4 miles away, we ordered on New Year's Eve, it came in 50 minutes which was just fine. Food was exactly what you wanted. The cream cheese wontons are great, the chicken lo mein is great too.

This place is awesome. Food is always hot and fresh, even when received by delivery. After many, many orders, we've never had a mistake - not even a missed sauce. Tonight I ordered something completely off menu. It was perfect, and the kind man taking my order was so accommodating to my request even though I would have completely understood if it wasn't possible. Thank you all so much! I am always so impressed with the service and quality of this establishment. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Fried rice was side order with entree so dont want to rate it. Decent enough but a little light on ingredients. Flavor was good though so I suspect the fried rice entrees are solid. The Roast Pork with Broccoli was quite good. Sauce maybe a little thick but char sui was very good. Tender and flavorful. The Moo Shu Pork was good as well. This dish is so often too salty but the balance was great here. It might be the dish we come back for. Happy Family was a little fishy and had too much imitation crab. I think id rather it was just left out. Sauce was fine but probably would steer clear in the future. The Steamed or Fried Dumpling were very typical. Fine but not excellent. The Chicken Egg Roll were the biggest disappointment. They tasted like food service. Would be surprised if they were even made in house. Egg rolls are our favorite appetizer so this might be a deal breaker on the restaurant for us.
