It looked good online, it looked good from across the field no matter where you were, but where you actually were looked a little pathetic and uninspiring. This is definitely more for children than adults. It's a money-pit to be sure. Drinks (instant hot chocolate with mint liquor) were $20. Add ons (that were not mentioned on the website) were more more money as well. Several of the major displays were not working completely. (The top of the largest Christmas tree was completely off) We spent well over $100 for three adults on entry and drinks and were there less than an hour. If anyone asks what we did on Christmas Eve Eve, we will say "nothing" because that is basically what we did.

I've been here twice now. Once this year and once last year. If you have little kids, and you don't care about how much money you spend, then this place is worth coming to. I came last year and the kids enjoyed it. But, as others have said, it is expensive for parking and to get in. Then, while inside, you get upcharged for the slide and, this year, for the zip line. I would not have gone back this year but my wife and I got free tickets for us and the kids as we are Yelp elite. But, still learned my lesson from last year. I dropped them off at the gate and then drove down the river a bit to where there is free parking instead of the expensive parking right outside the gate. 8 minute walk back no big deal. Also we ate dinner before which I would recommend. Food options aren't superb and it's a cashless venue which I'm not a fan of. In the end, we only paid to use the slide and the zip line for the kids. Even that was like $50 total. Lights are great and you'll get great pictures with your family but not worth the overall full price cost imo.

This is my second time going, the first time was last year in 2022. We returned this year as our toddler can walk more. Its find enough enough but you could see some lights are not working. Its almost the same set up as last year so nothing too new. Parking is so expensive right at the farmers market.

This was my first year going to the GLOW Holiday Festival and I was a bit disappointed. It cost $20+ per person to enter but it did not seem worth the money. The light displays were beautiful and they had fun music playing, but the activities like the slide and zip line, in addition to food and drinks, cost extra. With the cost of entry I felt like at minimum the activities should have been included. Any age can enjoy the event but it's definitely geared more towards families with children. There is lots of parking nearby but they do charge quite a bit unless you want to walk a ways. I'd recommend the Lowertown Ramp if you don't want to pay a lot and are ok with a little walk.

Beautiful sparkling light and great pictures opportunities although NOT worth the price at all. With five adults and three kids, it was expensive. Not to mention the additional fees for the slide, the zip line, the hot cocoa, s'mores and other items for sale. With how much we paid for tickets we decided we'd only splurge on the slide for the kids - which we doubled up on and we brought our own s'mores. We did have fun and took photos for memories so I guess you can't put a price on that. If we go next year, we'll we'll be sure to also bring our own hot chocolate, coffee, and maybe a hotdog or two for the fire

We decided to visit on our vacation to Minnesota. It was a cold night but the place was packed. We walked around looking at the lights, and paid to try the sled hill. My children, husband and I enjoyed ourselves. Definitely put us in a holiday spirit.

This is such a fun experience for anyone that wants to get into the holiday spirit, without feeling like they have to wait in line for a mall Santa or a more modern approach than the former Dayton's "day in the life of the elf" display. It felt great to be able to walk around CHS Field on a temperate winter's day. Word must have gotten out from their inaugural year in 2022, because the lines for hot chocolate were really long, so be warned if you get thirsty!I wasn't brave enough to go down the giant slide, but it looks much more manageable than the one at the State Fair, if you're a chicken like me. Definitely take time to be silly and take a selfie- who knows, you might just have yourself a picture worth sharing to make the friends and relatives a bit jelly!

This is our second year going to GLOW with our little one who is 2 years old. There is so much for kids to do and play. It's much more than just amazing lights. There are wooden houses, bikes, slides, zip lines (for older ones), Santa, and bouncing reindeer! For adults there's are alcoholic drinks as well. There is paid parking across the street which is a little pricey but convenient. Otherwise there is street parking. Great kid activity and highly recommend!

What a scam! Absolute rip off! You show slides and a zip line but they cost extra!? That was not clearly indicated on the website. I went back to look and didnt see anything about it. After paying almost 100$ for our family to get in!? Heck no! Next time I'll just drive around and look at lights and light shows in the neighborhoods. Stay warm, see more, save $$$!

We brought the kids here a week ago. We were expecting something like the event we went to at the State Fairground in 2021 - lots of lights to walk around and see, with plenty of space to move around, etc. This year (and maybe last year too), it was at CHS field in Saint Paul. The stadium seems new and it is a really nice place. However, it was PAAAAAACKED. We waited in line with our timed-entry ticked for 30 minutes in a line that snaked around a corner for hundreds of yards.Once inside, it was very hard to get around with a stroller and it was dark (for the light show), so I did not feel comfortable letting our toddlers out of the stroller. There was a sort of light maze to walk through, but since we had the stroller, we had to find an elevator and go through a tunnel to the field and the only way out was once you got to the left field foul pole was to turn 180 degrees and go all the way back to the tunnel and take the elevator again. We then had to push through the crowd again to get to the area behind the outfield where all the kids stuff was (like a big playground). It was also dark and over-crowded, giving a lot of Hunger Games vibes, so I did not want to see my kids get either trampled or lose them in the mayhem. We completed the lap around the first base side, got to the entrance, and got the heck out of there. This is probably fun for adults or families with older kids, but this was not a fun event with small kids.
