If you're from California or want authentic mexican food, this place is IT!! It reminded me of home and even my bf agreed. It's been so long since we found a good mexican spot and this made us so happy!! I don't write many reviews but when I do you know it's good!!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in MSP! I can't believe it's taken me this long to review them. I used to go to their location in Sioux Falls, SD all the time, so when I moved to MN I was so excited to discover their Blaine location. The location is a bit small, so it can get very crowded quickly. They do have a drive-thru if you feel like taking your meal home. Their tacos are always fresh and delicious and have plenty of flavor. I always get carnitas, chicharron (fried pork belly), and chorizo. You can't go wrong with this combo. Recently I decided to try one of their burritos and went with the Conga. Comes with rice, beans, cheese, and steak. It is unbelievably tasty. Please note that most of their burritos do NOT come with rice, so plan accordingly. I appreciate their open condiment bar where you can pick your salsas, pickled veggies, etc. you MUST try their avocado salsa! If you like avocado, you'll want to add it to every bite of your meal! Overall a great place, with friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. Doesn't get any better than that! Oh, and their prices are very fair for the generous portions.

Decided to give this place a go after craving tacos! This place has plenty of free parking! There is very limited seating inside, so it may be worth doing a to go order. I did eat inside. There really isn't much for decor, so I'd probably take my order to go next time. The service was just ok... not very friendly and seemed annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted right away. The food. The best thing I had was the quesa birria quesadilla! That was absolutely delicious!! The taco version was bland for some reason... the shrimp and chicken taco were very basic and something I could have done at my house. Not anything authentic or special. The ceviche was definitely delicious! Get that as well! The churros had the right texture but no where near enough cinnamon sugar...This place had a couple items that I would come back for! Give them a try and see what you think!

Came here for Cinco De Mayo because it's deep in the suburbs and away from the crowds of the city....The best thing about this place is authenticity in the food and preparation as well as the inside dining area; very traditional decor and styling inside. You also have the option to enjoy your food at one of outside dining tables. Even better is they also have a drive thru! So that's great for the customer who would like their food to go.I personally had the quesadilla and it was stuffed with meat and cheese, which I think many people would enjoy. My friend had the tacos and she loved them. She's from Atlanta where they have a variety of ethnic foods and according to her, the food here was definitely on par.Overall nice place, and if they served alcoholic drinks like margaritas, then it would be a great happy hour spot. Otherwise it's a great place for Mexican takeout or casual dining.

I thought it was about time I shared an updated review for this location. We've been coming to this taco shop regularly for the past few years, and it's still as good as our first visit. This is THE taco spot we recommend to all of our friends, family, and colleagues. We recently tried the Conga burrito and absolutely fell in love. The beef is fried to a crisp and provides the perfect crunch to go with the rice and beans in the burrito. Highly recommend trying this with one of their homemade salsas - the avocado salsa is my favorite. Everything we've tried at Giliberto's is consistently fresh and flavorful.

Hands down best breakfast burrito I've had in Minnesota. I missed the green chili I'd get in Denver. I wasn't convinced that a little place in Blaine would put out a good green chile breakfast burrito, but I was wrong. So so good - just wish they'd add a bit more. Maybe ask for extra?
