I probably had one of the best dining experiences in MN, if not then top 3 in my life. Small city restaurant packed with love, overwhelming amount of food, perfect service, owner presence, just like you stepped into your uncle's place. It may not look like much and just another restaurant when you drive by, but this is a business done right!!Thank you!

Found them via a Yelp search while visiting Schell's. Was seated at the bar by the owner himself. Very nice guy who makes good recommendations! Had a salad, king cut prime rib and green beans (skipped the potato). It was all excellent! If you're a bourbon fan their selection is first-rate, including many allocated bottles. Totally worth a visit!!!

If you are staying in New Ullm or passing through... THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! George is incredible! We sat at the bar and he George himself tended to our needs non stop! The place was absolutely packed! Food was incredible! Service was on par! We sat right by the kitchen and you could tell they had a high standard of quality even though such a small town place! I'm not a local, but this will be my new spot when I'm in the area!

Best Old Fashioned drink in town.. I had Norwegian Salmon , delicious ! The service and ambience is there too! Highly recommend this place when visiting New Ulm, MN .

Had onion rings, French onion soup and the dry aged pork chop .... Spectacular!!! Service was outstanding and friendly. GREAT spot for dinner. Make a reservation.

We spent a few nights in New Ulm & came here because it was recommended by a local.I must confess, we had low expectations, having done the bar steaks scene in the past with little to no success & seafood seemed out of place.I ordered the filet, shrimp, salad & Georges fries. I was thrilled that the filet was highlighted with light seasoning and perfectly cooked. The "fries" were delightful and the salad was as would be expexted but with a lovely thick ranch - dip quality! I could have done without the shrimp, truthfully. It isn't that they were bad, they were just unremarkable - breaded and lightly fried, typical fare.The staff werw friendly and fun. We had plenty to eat with leftovers to boot. The poterhouse pork chop & french onion soup were also huge hits!

Always a great spot. Food is very good and flavorful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

We had a post harvest supper here, great food and great service. I had delicious kabob's and didn't hear a single complaint from any one in our party of 20. Drinks were asked to be refilled very quickly. It's a classy brick restaurant

A great business family owned for many years off the beaten track well worth a trip even for the day George himself took great care of us. We always like to sit at the bar and strike up a conversation with the bartenders and in this case the owner, we will be back whenever opportunity arises.

Outstanding customer service. Amazing food. Hands down best baked potato and salmon I have ever had.
