Frozen Five Ice Creamery

I stopped by this place on a walk through Waconia and am glad I did! It's a clean and well maintained operation with pleasant fast service. It seemed to be a popular place for families to stop in on a hot summer night. I got the small birthday cake ice cream. The ice cream texture was great, but to be honest this tasted nothing like birthday cake ice cream. I very much doubted myself even when I took the first bite about what I had even ordered. It was much more like a cookie and jelly flavor? It was good, but I felt the description was very off. Keeping my rating at a 4 star for now because I'd love to try another flavor sometime and see if it ends up being closer to the description.

I took my daughter here when main scoop wasn't yet open for the season. We were underwhelmed by the flavors and decided not to return. Service was nice.

Also came here on a recommendation from a relative. I'd never been to this area of MN before but it was a cute little downtown and the ice cream was surprisingly good, way above my expectations on the flavors and quality. The staff was very patient and friendly, helped us with the sampling and sizing after having a large bbq dinner. If anyone's passing through I highly recommend giving them a visit!

What's the scoop at this place? It's a fun new shop founded by a family of five, serving fantastically fresh frozen treats in funky flavors. Safe to say they are pretty "F'ing" awesome ;) Alright alright, ya know I'm kiddin'I tried the Half Baked Cookies & Cream in a Waffle Cone.Cookies and cream has been done and redone a billion times. But I'll tell ya, this one was right up there with the best. Didn't melt too fast (even on a humid day), taste was consistent throughout, and it just seemed balanced. But the cookie dough in there... that might be dropping by my dreams before too long. Dang, that's DANGEROUSLY good.Not sure what you did during quarantine, but this five wasn't satisfied sitting around. So they started making ice cream, perfected the process, and popped open an establishment to share their frozen fare. Awesome, right?! That's some passion right there, which is what you want when it comes to food.Stop by to enjoy their smiles, positive energy, and of COURSE some dessert. Ice cream made in-house. Cones made same place, same-day. Only way to do it.Thanks to Kristen, Nick, and the other three I didn't meet for the marvelous experience!

We love coming here it's the best ice cream in town and all made by the family owners! They have so many unique flavors. We recommend!

Amazing ice cream in Waconia! So many delicious flavors.... I could hardly decide which flavor to get. The waffle cone was perfect too! And they even put a malted milk ball in the bottom of the cone because that's the true way to serve a waffle cone! Love this place!! So awesome!

tried Frozen Five today and could not be more pleased. I had the Salted Oreo in a waffle cone. Safe to say this is my new favorite ice cream shop in town.
