Fit Rite Alterations

I was told my dress would be ready a certain day and when I came it wasn't and I had to come back without even an apology that it wasn't finished on time. I brought in a bridesmaid dress to alert then lace cap sleeves, put in cups and hem the length. The lace cap sleeves were not alerted evenly and when I said something they told me it looked fine (which it did not). For the quality of work that was done and the poor customer service, I was over charged. The total bill was $150. I would not recommend this place for formal alterations.

This place is wonderful! They do a excellent job. I like the owner and the employees. They fix stuff other place will not touch. Plus they are very competitive.

I am definitely a fan of this place! The owners are very nice. They will try to get your clothes done on time. They relocate to another place but it is still inside Har Mar Mall. The room is bigger and they got more family members to work. Prices are not bad. I usually come here when I am in the area to get my nails done next door:) Usually you have to pay first but if you can't do that they are really nice about having you pay when you pick up. There are plenty of parking at this mall.

Dissatisfaction, sleeves shortened but ended up different lengths. How is that acceptable?

I took a coat in to have the lining and insulation replaced. They kept it for two weeks and still didn't have it ready until two days after it was supposed to be done. What they ended up doing was removing all the insulation and only replaced the lining, so now it's not warm enough to wear in winter. It's just an outer shell with a polyester lining that's too thin to even keep the wool exterior from itching me. They ruined my favorite article of clothing of the last 15 years. When I asked for half the $130 back, he only gave me $10 without ever apologizing for anything, not the lateness or what he did to my coat. In fact, he was smirking though the whole interaction.

actually, no star rating. don't expect to get your items to get done on time here. I'll never come back, unreliable.

I came in to have my wedding clothes alter and gave them a month to do it. Yet they could not finish it at the time promised. They called just to say that please pick up the next day with no apology! It is frustrating when you are trying to plan everything during our wedding week! Unprofessional!
