Fiesta Mexicana

"Minnesota Mild" is a real, problematic thing. We were not enthused by our visit here. I'm from California, my husband is from New Mexico, and we just moved to Minnesota after a long stint in Arizona. We found the food here despairingly bland, from the salsa and chips to our main entrees. My husband's fajitas were sizzling hot when they came out--as the picture shows--but it wasn't immediately evident that the food was actually burnt across the bottom. The one thing that was quite good was my strawberry margarita. I liked the ambience, too--they went all in on setting the mood. We won't be back, though.

I have been here several times and if you get one of the brothers as a server you might as well leave. He has waited on me several times and he is horrible. He has no personality and doesn't listen to what you are ordering. It's kind of hard to mess up a margarita on the rocks with no salt, and I get salt every single time. I've tried to come at different times and he's always there. The only time he hasn't waited on me was during covid and I got the nicest server, but I haven't seen her since.

We stopped here spontaneously going to a Treasure Island concert. I kind of wish we wouldn't have. We got the Mexican pizza. No flavor and way too many green onions. We each took one bite and pushed the plate aside. We also got flautas. These were okay at best that also lacked any flavor. The chile con queso was the only item we enjoyed. The margaritas were large and extremely flavorful. If this is your only option keep driving.

The food here was sketchy at best. The only reason I rated this venue 3 stars was because my husbands food was good. My meal was not good; the chicken had the smell and taste of chicken going bad. The service was good but not great. The dinning area was clean and spacious but not well thought out.

We haven't been to this restaurant before and we were very glad we stopped in.The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent!We'll be back for sure.

The margaritas are gigantic.The guava was excellent- I recommend you try it. Also highly recommended is the Tres Mares with shrimp scallops and fish. Even the Fish taste good. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly seasoned. The sides were all grilled veggies and salad greens with avocado. I can feast without feeling guilty.The fried ice cream was a perfect ending to our experience. Chips and Salsa are complimentary and the salsa was perfect. So why 4 stars? The taco dinner my daughter got was clearly the last steak of the night, it was dry, hard and tasted bland.

Food was horrible! Blender made guacamole, think baby food.Steak tacos - Greasy-non authentic. Literally thrown on the plate so most of the meat, cilantro and onion were on the plate and not in the nasty rubbery like taco shell.Hands down the worst taco I have ever had.Service and ambiance were good.

Been here many times, one of my spouse and I favorite place. After biking on the Cannon Valley Trail we went there on my birthday. Couldn't think of a better place to go. I even got a free desert.

Walked in the door and waited a couple minutes then sought out staff to be seated. That was unusual as we have been here before. I ordered from the lunch menu flautas with chicken. Meat was not dry but no flavor needed salt. The beans were delicious but the guacamole was scary looking. Guacamole was a small scoop and the top was turning black like it was made yesterday I just scrap it off my dish. Never had a problem here before but today was no there best. Hit or miss I guess!
