El Super Taco

We needed a quick bite before a show at the ames and stopped here. The local is in a strip mall with ample parking. As you peer into the store front it looks very small from the outside well that's because it is. We walked in and were greeted right away and the aromas inside were uplifting and brought new life to me as my stomach stopped growling. The menu was very mighty for a small place and I ordered the barbacoa tacos and a Mexican street corn. We waited and before we could sit down the food was out. You would think the guys in the back worked at the Honda assembly line they were so fast and efficient. The taco was very good and filled with flavors. The onions and what not tasted freshly cut and not some that were from a can or refrigerated for days.The street corn well.... the corn itself was very buttery and juicy and we felt we has to wear safety goggles to prevent it from getting in eyes after every bite. The fixings were lacking and it did not have much of thr mayo cream sauce on it as I get from the local elote lady in saint paul. The cheese was good but was also lacking the lime zesty taste. It had lots of chili powder on it.Overall it was good. I gave it 5 stars and will go back when I have more time to try their food. For now 5 stars.

Tables are usually dirty. Added star for the salsa bar, green and habanero salsas are great. Would be helpful to provide small sandwich bags for the cucumbers, limes, etc. Plenty of parking, about 10-11 tables total in the restaurant. Carne asada tacos 3.5/5 and are served with cilantro and onion. Quesabirria - 3.5/5 stars. served with 2 tacos and consume for dipping. Consume contains chickpeas which I have never seen before. Tinga quesadilla was good, 4/5 stars. Option of flour or corn tortilla. I liked that as you usually are stuck getting a flour tortilla for quesadillas.

Other reviewers mention the lack cleanliness of this restaurant. That was an understatement on their part. I won't be back, someone should pressure wash the entire restaurant. The salsa bar was covered with flies. Not a clean table, booth, or chair in the restaurant. The floor was sticky and dirty. I watched a kitchen worker taking a break get up in the middle of his meal to make food for a customer, never washed his hands and handled raw onion. He could have used tongs that were right in front of him. I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos and Elote. Both were fine but I feel like it is a roll of the dice with the chances of a food borne illness. I hate speaking so badly about a restaurant but I can't look past the lack of cleaning.

Super good tacos here especially taco Tuesdays at two bucks a taco. Beef n chorizo r my favorite. Had the platter the previous time n it was great too. Don't forget to get the sauces n limes at the station. Cool folks here, make this place a must stop by.

Ordered the chicken tostadas. Delicious- they used cojita cheese & authentic refried beans. I put some of the arbol red sauce on mine and loved the zest. Stop 1 on my search for favorite Mexican restaurants. So far #1 on my list. Well done!!

Go for Taco Tuesday!I also like the Super Espada, it's like the Machette at Taco Libre.I really appreciate the Big bowl of hot chilis you can scoop up.

Stopped by here while working today and the food was delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. The interior of the restaurant is nothing special and I had to wipe down the table and chair before I could sit but whatever. Perfect place for lunch or to go, wouldn't bring my family for a sit down dinner though.

Love coming to this place! Check it out. Food is great. Service is awesome. Prices are fair. I always visit when I'm in town.

Best tacos I have had in the TC!!! Certainly worth a visit. Fresh ingredients, quick service, friendly and clean! Of course you need to try the "El Super Taco" its huge, flavorful and amazing!!

Love this place. The food comes quick and great service. 10/10 every time. I love the super espada with half steak half marinated pork.
