El Itacate

I ordered the pozole which comes with two tostadas, an horchata and my husband ordered the al pastor burrito. We are both hispanic and from California and this food has been the most authentic and delicious Mexican food we have had since moving to MN. Recommend it completely, you need to try it!!

This place was recommended by a local. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I had the chicken flautas and it was loaded. The green salsa is hotter than the red, in my opinion. It was a little on the pricey side for me but it was 'homemade' cooking.

Chicken enchilada with green sauce is absolutely delicious. Perfect balance of fat, acid, and salt. The other is a beef enchilada with a special request of cheese sauce. Really good and comforting. If you are from Oklahoma/Texas and you love TexMex the enchiladas are phenomenal! Chicken was great not the shredded kind. They have the traditional Mexican tacos as well! I can't come back and try the Birria tacos!

Very tasty they aren't stingy with the meat,very flavorful,salsa's nice and spicy!! I enjoyed them very much. Full after the first taco!

The service wasn't good. It took the lady at the counter a couple minutes to acknowledge me standing there waiting to order . The food was terrible. The meat tasted like it been sitting in grease all day. The burrito was soaked with grease on the bottom. I ate one half and threw the other half away. If you want good authentic Mexican food,find another place. I won't be back. 1out of 5

Legit food! Highly recommend as a so.cal native. Staff was amazing and everything was tasty.

The pozole was delicious - it had large hominy. A suadero taco and cucumber lime drink were a good combo as well. Eager to try a couple other items I saw on the menu.

Food is great.The service is great.The ambiance is good.Parking is not all that good but a small sacrifice for a good experience. Check this place out if you are in Oakdale.

My son and I came in for dinner recently on a Sunday. He ordered the Birrea torta and I had Birrea Tacos. The flavors were authentic and the portion sizes great. We will definitely be dropping in again soon!

Great food and service is quick. Work close by and Have always order online for lunch.
