El Huarache Mexicano

I can recommend the queso but that's about it. I don't eat beef or pork, so it's possible those dishes are fine; I had the Huarache Tinga and the Tinga Taco but the chicken was very dry and not flavorful at all. I didn't care for either the red salsa (quite hot) or the green (watery). I threw most of the Huarache away. :(The queso bumped it up a star and helped save the taco, but the chips tasted stale.

Loved the flavors and service for our takeout. We had always wanted to try this restaurant. And jumped at the chance when we were in the area visiting family. We'll have to come back when we're not as rushed because the decor and ambiance looks great. Thanks for the great meal.

Wow! Where do I start? My wife ordered the Fajita Burrito and I ordered the Tinga Huaraches and quesadilla Carnitas, and for dessert, I ordered fried Ice Cream. I ordered this wonderfully authentic meal over the phone. The service was really quick. I reviewed the menu while I paying for my meal and I could not resist salsa and chip with a bowl of guacamole. The kitchen prepared the chip and also from scratch. I heard them preparing the fresh ingredients and wow! I loved it. Well, what can I say? I loved everything we ordered. The portions were large and so incredibly delicious. The menu was clear and concise, and the ambiance of the restaurant was clean and presentable. I'm telling you, folks! Don't hesitate to visit this fantastic establishment!!!

Great legit Mexican food in Shakopee! You will hear Spanish and possibly be greeted in Spanish so be ready to admire the beauty of the language. It's a fantastic south of the border family meal!

Real authentic Mexican food. Nice and clean, very courteous and helpful lady who took the order and also served us. Reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be back

This location is super cute, I think it was a diner of some sort before it was a Mexican joint. The huarache was thin and delicious, the pico was delightful and had plenty of cilantro, my friend had a burrito and it was huge, plus came with chips, lettuce, sour cream, and tomato. A true delight!

Chips & guac. Street tacos. BIG menu. Hole in the wall with good food! We tried the al pastor. Maybe not the best I've ever had, but it's good. Give this place a go!

Very casual place. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Felt like we were back in Mexico. We will be going back often.
