My wife and I decided to venture out for lunch, and I had a craving to explore a new taco spot. After some deliberation, we settled on trying El Camino Gourmet Tacos, a place that had recently caught my eye.The parking lot, shared with several other businesses, offered plenty of spots, making our arrival easy and stress-free. As we entered the establishment, we were promptly greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter. The menu was a delight--clearly laid out, with detailed descriptions for each item. This thoughtful touch made it easy to navigate the mouthwatering options, and I appreciated how transparent and appetizing everything sounded. The ambiance was equally inviting. The cheerful atmosphere was alive with upbeat music, smiling employees, and happy customers. The wall decor was strikingly beautiful, adding a vibrant and artistic touch to the space. We found a cozy table and were quickly presented with menus and offered beverage choices. As we browsed through the menu, we couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the incredible array of options--each dish sounded better than the last! It was a struggle, but we finally made our decisions. We started with the Chips and Guacamole and then moved on to our main courses. My wife chose the Steak Fajita Bowl, while I opted for the Chicken Tinga Corn Tacos. As we waited for our food, the restaurant began to fill up, the buzz of activity adding to the lively and welcoming vibe. The Chips and Guacamole arrived quickly, and what a treat they were! The chips were unbelievably fresh and had that unmistakable crispness of being freshly made in-house. The guacamole? Sublime. Creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--it was so good I joked about wanting to bathe in it. I'm completely in love with this guacamole and could easily make a meal of just that.Soon after we polished off the appetizer, our main dishes arrived, and the incredible aromas from our plates were almost too much to handle. The Chicken Tinga Tacos were a masterpiece. The crunch of the tortillas was like music to my ears, and the savory, spiced flavor of the chicken was pure perfection. Every bite was a revelation, and I found myself wishing it would never end.My wife's Steak Fajita Bowl looked just as enticing. The vibrant mix of ingredients was beautifully presented, and to my surprise, she finished every last bite--a rarity for her. She's usually the one asking for a to-go box, but this time, she couldn't bear to leave a morsel behind. Either she was extremely hungry or the dish was so incredible she simply couldn't stop eating. I'm inclined to believe it was the latter. What can I say? The entire meal was a triumph of flavor, freshness, and quality. I'm already planning my return visits--there are so many more dishes I want to try. My only regret? Forgetting to take pictures of this unforgettable meal! What was I thinking?El Camino Gourmet Tacos has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite places. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll be hooked from the first bite!

My absolute favorite taco spot in the twin cities! I love the unique flavors and I can't get enough. The Korean BBQ is my favorite, and I've been meaning to try it as a bowl. I also tried the carne asada fries and they were ok, not the best but good for the reasonable price.Trust me, you don't want to drive past this place without trying it!

The shrimp tacos are wonderful- I love the cabbage slaw and cilantro. The fresh salsa bar is a great bonus. The queso is delicious. They grill the taco shells Lots of seating and parking. FYI: they don't serve alcohol. You order at the counter and they bring out your food.

I got the carnitas bowl. I was a bit disappointed. There was barely any lettuce. I asked for no rice so I could get more vegetables. The meat was super salty. The spicy sauce is very tasty.

My sister & I love tacos but it seems a bit limited to get really good authentic tacos on this side of town. I only really eat chicken tacos and was excited to see they had wet chicken tacos on a specials menu when we went. I felt the food was decent overall but a bit on the saltier side. The staff were nice. The restaurant was pretty clean. I would probably go back again.

I've driven by this place countless times and finally was looking for a quick lunch and this was a great stop!I ordered the wet taco and a side of rice and both were fantastic! The interior is dated, with rips in the booths, but that didn't matter much. Quick service and nice prompt welcome. Great flavors and I'd be excited to order takeout or delivery soon!

Very friendly, easy parking, and great food. The food is really delicious so I always end up ordering 2 things from the menu and it never breaks the bank. Would recommend the tacos with protein or the burrito bowls!

Excellent taco shop, with multiple house made salsas to try. I had three tacos: chicken tinga with chipotle and cotija cheese, Al Pastor (my favorite), and blackened fish with jicama and avocado. We also had excellent, chunky guacamole. Definitely check them out.

Oh...My...Goodness!! This place is the truth!!Go for the wet taco, and get it with the corn tortilla cus it's the most authentic. The tacos are LOADED with meat, and the green sauce was legit. Just three tacos is all it took and I was maxxed!!The place was clean and staff was welcoming and there was plenty of space to come with a group and enjoy. We were with a seven and we dined for about 2 and half hours and enjoyed every minute of it. I don't when's the last time I heard the achy breaks heart over the radio, but this was my first time hearing it in español, it was a fun adventure with good food!I will be back and you'll read this review and recognize this has to be the next place you get your taco Tuesday on.
