I bought a Groupon for my daughter and her family for Christmas. It was supposed to be good for Friday night tubing, hot dogs and pop. Well, because of their work schedules, they did not have an open Friday night. With the season winding down, my daughter called to see if they would honor it for another day. They didn't hesitate! Told the kids to come in whenever they could. They went there yesterday, a Saturday, with their 2 boys, ages 7&9. They had a blast. Said the workers were pleasant and helpful and really appeared to enjoy their jobs. Food was good, facilities were nice, just an all-around fun family experience. Thanks, Ekobacken!

I went here on a school field trip and it was a lot more dun than I had thought it would be. Tubing was fun & safe, they have people down the hill watching the whole time so no one will get hurt. The line that sends you up I was worried about being unsafe but it was safe and fun. The inside is warm, food is a little pricey but good quality. They also have a really cute dog inside with one blue eye and one brown.

This is a hidden gem. Tucked away on Manning Trail just outside of Forest Lake, it is a family business that caters to families. You pay for a 3 hour time slot ($15) for unlimited runs down the tubing hills. Tow ropes pull you back up top for another round!! Night time is the best, with the flood lights lighting up the hill.

Our 4-H group goes tubing annually at Eko Backen! The hills are fun, staff is friendly, and the warming house is comfortable. Definitely recommend for families - fun for all ages.

Visited here on New Years day 2016 to take my daughters tubing. We have been to Buck Hill and Elm Creek before this and had a lot of fun. This place is not a safe place to take your kids. They don't provide a safe environment. They don't have lanes for tubers and nobody bothers to keep tubers from going down the hill until until others are safely out of the way. Don't risk it. I have talked to numerous others that have had their kids injured here. They don't provide any support if some does get hurt and don't want to deal with you if you do. I am now out hundreds of dollars in medical bills and countless hours of time dealing with concussion my daughter suffered here. Don't let it happen to you.
