It always surprises me how many places that I love going to, I have not reviewed. And this is one of these places. I love coming here for music. They have three rooms where things happen. The main room (aka Mattson Room) has a great wood dance floor and you'll see things happening here in the afternoon (line dancing, square dancing, etc) and then bands rocking out in the evening. The 2nd room, is the medium size room. Here too I've seen all sorts of great bands play and it too has room to throw down your dance moves or just rock out. The 3rd room. Wow. This room is tiny and it is where the metal bands play. It is loud and it'll melt your face. They also offer food and drinks are way cheap. We'll come here to watch Vikings games. They have both a kitchen that offers salads and burgers, and the traditional bar frozen pizza. You're not getting a Heggies here but you will get a Jakeeno's. In the Twin Cities, this is the only place I know serving up this variety. You need a place to watch a Vikes game or the Wild? This is the place. Drink specials during Vikes games too!

I need to remember to tell you about my amazing experience last weekend. I attended this fantastic afternoon groove and it was an absolute blast! The band was top-notch, with all the members being incredibly talented and well-versed in multiple instruments. The music was so infectious that it got some people on their feet and grooving, while others were just vibing and soaking in the fantastic tunes. The venue was also great, with ample parking available all around, making it super convenient to find a spot nearby.And let me tell you about the service - it was exceptional! Allie (I hope I got the spelling right, but apologies if not) took care of us, and she was simply amazing. She paid attention to every little detail and, despite us wandering around the event location, she didn't mind going the extra mile to track us down. The level of service we received was truly second to none. It really made the entire experience even more special and memorable. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect vibes so cozy and the best staff in the cities. Tons of fun events just maybe not the world's greatest food but that's not really the vibe

Met friends last night to see The Haws gig. I liked that the music was in another room, not just in the bar. The acoustics were really good... I even busted out my earplugs. It was a reasonable...maybe even too cheap $10 to see acts. Two of which I'd never seen but enjoyed am now a fan. The bangs wee Speedbilly, The DagNabits and The Haws. The room looks pre-set up for receptions with the hanging tulle and lights. There are numerous ceiling fans and I noticed the Nest on the wall... the room was a comfortable 71/70 all night. Parking was easy with a private lot out back. I noticed a small patio back there when I left too. Thanks Eagles for also having a server running drinks in all night, so we wouldn't have to leave the shows to go out for a drink. I liked that there was seating all around the walls of the venue so people weren't all lumped together, thanks. We all had a lot of fun. Before the shows we sat in a comfortable booth out by the bar. Thanks Eagles for a fun Saturday night of live music!

The seating was comfortable.The waitress was professional and attentive.I ordered a drink and a grilled Ham and Swiss sandwich.The drink was good and the food was outstanding.I highly recommend this Eagles/American Legion establishment.I live 12 miles away, so if I go back it will be for the food!

My happy place, zen space. Best place for beer and bingo in MInneapolis on Saturday afternoons. I come sweaty after hot yoga. Come early if you're planning on bingo-ing, seats fill up quickly. Also, know if you arrive too late, as is customary in bingo land, you won't be eligible for the coverall.The food is good here, as are the Bloody Marys! Discounted bloodies on the weekend with a breakfast order. Come on in, it's warm inside.

The Eagles has the best bartenders! They make an awesome Bloody Mary, and know you by name. Specials during football always make it fun. They offer everything to love about Minnesota- Jell-O shots, meat raffles, bingo, bango, and music for every taste.

Pretty cool place! There are actually three rooms for events (music and otherwise). I went to a concert there and it was in the room right at the entrance. There was a nice stage, seating around the perimeter and lots of dance floor space. This reminded me if all the years I spent as a kud going to polka gigs with my grandpa. He had a band and played in places like this. Big wood floor for dancing on. Sound was good and i didn't hear music coming from the other rooms which was great. The bathroom was clean for a busy nite. They are way understaffed at the bar for the level of people there. Long wait to get drinks when events are underway. I didn't eat but the food prices looked really cheap. My guy says the food is great though. Ok selection of beers. No selection on ciders. Prices on drinks are standard for a saturday night. Would like to get back there to try the food.

I haven't belted a song out yet, but definitely can. will be going within the week to eat and sing. it sounds. like a great venue!

Great place for some line dancing and two-step on a Sunday night. Very welcoming crowd and the dj was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this venue for a night out. It is LGBTQ+ friendly:)
