The Dugout Bar & Grill

This small town bar has all the feels you would expect. Log cabin decor, domestic light beer on draught, country music, and a house full of locals. We stopped in on a Saturday evening to watch a couple friends play. The place was absolutely packed. Being that we aren't regulars we definitely got a few looks upon arrival but our server treated as though we belonged. Slow, but nice. Again, though, the place was packed. I ordered a burger. It wasn't great at all. Frozen, unseasoned patty. Chewy and rubbery. The sour cream on it was SOUR cream. Did love the bread, though. The girlfriend ordered fried shrimp. Came with coleslaw, potato, and a bun for $12.99. Crazy good deal and the shrimp was pretty solid. Overall I wouldn't go back here again just to grab a bite to eat. My friends were fun to watch and the whole bar was singing along so that was cool.

We stopped here a few months ago and I forgot to review ... the food was great, service good (it was pretty busy so staff had a bit of a harder time keeping up) and the atmosphere as expected for a small town restaurant. They really need to update the interior as the bench we sat at was so low, the table was even with my collarbone 0_0!

Great service, I had the fish and chips. Couldn't tell u how good it was. The mini corn dogs were also really good. Also the lady working idk her name but she was really nice. 10/10

We ate here last summer and both had burgers and they were great! Decided to head up Hwy 65 today for a roadtrip and stopped in for a St Paddy's day beer, wish we would have ate at the food truck across the street at the brewery. We ordered the pretzel balls that are pictured on the left, I asked the waitress if they come with a cheese dipping sauce or anything and she said no, the cheese in in the middle. They were Extremely overcooked I think to the point that the cheese dried up inside, there was a little but they were very dry and icky! The mushroom were ok but a little on the watery side. Our waitress never came to ask how our food was nor ask if we wanted anything else to drink, once she did stop over I said I would not recommend the pretzels to anyone and we were ready for our bill, had wanted to stay and play a round of bingo but was so unimpressed with the place this time, we just wanted to leave. We Won't be back. We were never even given plates which is why I am showing our greasy napkins we had to use.

This place is really popular every time we've drive by it's been busy. My husband had a beer, I had water. They came out quickly. The service was good and our server was friendly. Our food was a good temperature and tasted like we thought it would. The hockey game came on just as we were leaving. It wasn't too loud. They had music playing and a variety of songs came on.

Updated menu is fantastic! Ordered the burger, and chips and salsa. Fabulous. The service is amazing! Always attentive and the waitress remembers what we like! Love that. The cabin wood feels warm and inviting. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a food place to relax and unwind and have some good bar food, and great service.

If you eat yumms eat here. Good food. Good service. And I am like. Yes. So yummy and good.

Based upon the Yelp reviews, I wanted to check this place out. It is basically a dive bar in a very small town. We ordered and it took over 30 minutes to get our food. We got burgers, onion rings and tots. The rings and tots were ok, a bit greasy but ok. My burger was awful! I've had better burgers at McDonalds! It was a brown, greasy blob with no flavor.There is no chance we will be returning!

We decided to leave early because one of the patrons decided to get in my face and tell me he must know me -over and over again. I assured him he doesn't know me. I think he was being annoying so he and his friends could take over the table. He asked if I wanted to dance - I was there with my wife. Anyway, probably won't be going to dugout again.
