Went for supper with a party of 9. Myself and my sister in-law don't eat very much and we knew we could not eat a whole prime rib meal by ourselves, so we decided to buy 1 meal and split it up at the table. I asked for an extra plate.When the bill came the server informed us of a forced gratuity (which I don't mind and understand) as well as a $5 upcharge for splitting a meal. We were not informed of the $5 up charge while ordering and the kitchen wait staff did not split our meal for us. While $5 is not really a lot of money, it makes me angry that we were never informed at the time of ordering and forced to pay. $5 will be the reason I never eat at Drugan's restaurant again.

I like Drugan's, on a Friday night- for one big reason- their salad bar. So far, it's the best that I have found in the Coulee Region. So far, every time that I have been there (and we've been about 5 or 6 times now, since fall of 2008 when we first "discovered" Drugan's) their salad bars have been fresh, interesting, high-quality and well-maintained. They also serve a fresh soup, and side rolls a'plenty (both light and dark) are available, as well as a hot-bacon dressing my wife says "is to die for".Typically, I'll order the Friday Night Fish Special (a Wisconsin tradition, restaurants around here are graded on the quality of their Friday Night Fish) which is a battered white cod. This is served with your choice of either a baked potato, or french fries. Drugan's is one of the last places in the area still offering an "All-you-can-eat" selection, currently priced at $11.99, as of 8/15/09. Their fish is well above average, and worth making the drive out for.I read the other reviews, and I was saddened to hear of their different experiences. Most of the time, I have had a very good experience here- with friendly, professional waitstaff and in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Once, we did have a younger "trainee"-type waitress, but the food wasn't bad- just service was slow and inattentive. But like I say, that only happened once, mostly we are always very pleased with both the service and the quality of the food, and look forward to making a special trip out to Drugans.One hint- if you get there after the main rush- just a little past 7pm on a Friday- it seems like we really have never had to wait more than two or three minutes for a table.

I never write reviews but felt the high quality of this meal deserved to be acknowledged. The best meal I have eaten out in a very long time. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The food looks appetizing and tastes great. The salad bar was amazing. I usually only get the mixed salad and skip mayo type side salads. I couldn't resist trying the potato salad and Cole slaw....they were not swimming in dressing...just enough to hold everything nicely together and had great flavors. I swear, the potato salad was as good as I remember my mother's from decades ago. They make their dinner rolls in house and wow....can you taste the difference. The fish was served steaming hot with an extremely light and crunchy batter. It was a very scenic drive and did not seem to take long at all! The Norwegian decor was interesting but not overdone. The view looking out at the wooded hills created a very peaceful vibe. The staff all the way around made you feel very welcome. Even though it was a busy Friday night ,the service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning !

We made reservations for 6:30 pm and were seated. We waited about :30 min to order our cocktail. Another:45 min for a waitress to take our order. There was a wedding reception at the same time. It was over an hour for our food to be delivered. When I questioned the waitress regarding the time she said they were short only two cooks and there were only two waitresses in the dining area. Very shorthanded for the amount of activity. When our food did finally arrived the order was mixed up and not properly cooked. My wife's Beef tips were way overcooked and unsatisfactory. My prime rib was ok but there was to much pepper. The wait staff was working hard to make a bad situation better. Management definitely failed Saturday evening. I could go on and on and but I will say Saturday night was a real disappointment as compared to the wonderful experience we had at the Sunday bunch a couple of weeks ago. The Sunday brunch I rated at 5 stars. Last Saturday night I rate at 2 stars. The ambiance was as expected. It will be a long time before I try another evening or invite or recommend it to friends.

They have wonderful food, service, and ambiance. I have no complaints with this place they're polite at servers are and raiders are very kind and the regular food and their seafood are delicious the solid bar is to die for.

Overpriced golf for the mediocre ( at best ) layout. I was also given three different prices. One on-line, one on the phone, and another different one at the counter, from a guy who was very unfriendly. All the other courses in the area are far superior, and I have played all the local courses from Trempealeau to Viroqua, Sparta, Valley High, etc, and the people are all much friendlier both in the club house and on the course. I will never waste my money at this course again. ( I have played here at least 20 times over the last 30 years, and same results. They get no more chances.)

A Friday night without Drugan's fish just isn't a Friday night! I love the fish but actually you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. If you love a hometown feel family restaurant this is your place!

We had a very nice dinner on Saturday night. It was very clean and socially distant. Very comfortable during this Covid time. The salad was great and the tenderloin tips were excellent. We had the best hash browns ever. We had wonderful old fashions prior to dinner. The food was great the service was great and the views were wonderful. It also felt good to support a long time restaurant during this difficult time.

My family and I made reservations for 6pm on 2/14/20. We were promptly seated in the overflow porch area. After waiting 15 minuets for a server, a tall short haired server came and asked if we were ready to order. She never asked if we wanted to hear the specials or if we wanted a drink.I told her that I would like a drink and she then told us what the specials were. The male staff member then turned the heat up as it was very cold on the porch. After about 20 minuets with not getting my drink I went to the bar and was going to order my drink but the bar tender told me that this must be my drink that was sitting there for 15 minuets. After 1 hour our food arrived. the waitress never asked about the drink as well never asked if any one else needed one for the rest of out time there. At a certain point I got up and served water to my table as well other guest in the porch area.When our dinner was served my meal wasn't complete. Being Valentines night I ordered the Prime Rib and a Lobster Tail. well no lobster tail was delivered. By this time I asked her where the rest of my meal was, and she was clueless. I wasn't going to tell her. My wife finally told her that I was missing the lobster tail.My mothers meal had to be returned to the kitchen to be warmed up as the meal was cold.When you pay $40.00 for a meal, the average person would like the compete meal as well good service.We will not be returning.
