Downtown Diner

This is a very divey diner. It was very casual. The employees were very friendly and good to our kids. My husband had the special of the day (some sort of meat platter), I had French toast and bacon and the kids had pancakes. Everyone was happy with their meals.

This diner is little in size, but BIG on personality. My daughter and I enjoyed our breakfast this morning, but the comrade between the occupants was the best!!! Everyone was so friendly and they were all thoroughly enjoying each others company. I highly recommend the Carmel pecan roll!!! So delicious!!

This is a very old-school diner, my mom thought it was pretty authentic 50s diner. Very down to earth people were here. The food is very 50s diner. I like to eat fruit with my lunch but they don't have fruit. Everybody gave this a four star. My husband had ham and grilled cheese sandwich, my son had a hamburger, my mom at the Swiss cheeseburger, I had a western omelette because I also need vegetables and the only other vegetable option was a side salad or a chef salad. she took $.50 off my order because I didn't need hashbrowns and toast. The food didn't come superfast but it didn't come super slow. The burgers were clearly shaped by hand, not machine made patties, the potato salad was homemade. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.

McRick?Wandered in here after absolutely no one would help us at a place down the street. By no one I mean, the waitress said, "I can take your drink order but that's it."As the kids say, whatevs.It was as though the table at Downtown Diner was waiting for us - a table for 6, we had 5 and big purses.There was one hard working her ass off waitress who was quick with drinks, food taking, delivery and all our special requests.I had the McRick special. I'm assuming Rick is the cook? It was eggs, sausage and cheese on a croissant with hash browns. I also had one pancake. The food came out super hot and delicious! 2 of us had to wait for our pancakes because "they ran out of room on the grill." I see why, the pancakes were the size of, and I'm not kidding, a small to medium pizza. The 5 of us could have shared a couple orders, but either way, we enjoyed our food and service. Less than $10 for that big old pancake and the sandwich. I ate like I hadn't eaten in weeks.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast! Quick and delish! Just a little "hole in the wall", but worth the visit!!

One of my most favorite breakfast spots in town. Food is awesome and the owners/servers are the sweetest. If you like home style cooking, this is your breakfast and lunch destination.

The food and service were both beyond perfect. The bacon is some of the best bacon I've had! I also would like to compliment Cindy on her fantastic service. She really knew how to make us feel welcome and appreciated.
