I came for the buffet and everything was fresh and delicious. There was a wide array of different foods and chutneys plus the staff was kind and helpful. I will come back, the buffet was great quality especially for the price

Terrible. Arrived at 12:45 on Wednesday. No lunch buffet. Food took 25 minutes and we had to ask how much longer for our food. Garlic naan was forgotten. Arrived halfway through lunch and tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. Had hard spots in it that could not be chewed through. Entrees arrived steaming hot but sauces were bland. The sauce on the Mattar Paneer and the Shahi Paneer looked and tasted like bland tomato sauce. Had to remind the server to bring our drinks.

I've been into this place six or seven times every time I go there I'll make sure I'll call them and ask what time the buffet starts. They say it starts at 11 so when I be in there at 11, I see the buffet starts at 11:45 somewhere around 12 it's not one or two times it all happens for me all my visits. The food is delicious. They have a good range of variety of items for the value for money but only thing is they need to work on keep up with the time because waiting for 45 minutes once or twice is acceptable but not all the time. This is from the same owner as Hyderabad Indian Grill and our Dosa delivery order actually came from a Hyderabad location. I guess you could consider this their secret delivery menu! I absolutely love Hyderabad so it's no surprise that I'd love Dosa. The Dosa menu has a bit more of a complex twist with items that take more time to craft. We ordered a Masala Chai, the Onion Chilli Uthappam, Hyderabad's Special Chicken Biryani, and the Madras Chicken Curry! Everything came with extra sauces and rice.I don't even know where to begin with this order. The curry was delicious, fragrant, and perfectly spicy. The biryani was also delicious with perfectly cooked rice as always. Very texturally pleasing across the board. The Uthappam I've never had before and it was absolutely heavenly. Fluffy spongey "bread" that I used as a utensil for everything else!

Well, the outside looks better than the inside. Don't go here for the design. I ordered take out and it took about 35 minutes, which they told me 30 - so that's ok. The food was good although the Naan could have used some more oil/butter on it. My biggest complaint is I got the Gulab Jamun for dessert and for $5 I was shocked to see only 3 pieces. Seriously? $1.67 a ball......

Stopped by here in a big group for lunch on a Wednesday. There were over 30 of us with 10 plus kids. So a big group which would be hard for most restaurants. We took over more than half the dining room of this small-ish restaurant off of Penn Avenue in Bloomington.We had called ahead and they had the table ready for us. They have an extensive menu with North and South Indian varieties and we ordered a smattering of items.We had a bunch of dosas, biryani, butter chicken, tiger shrimp curry and nuggets for the littlest ones in our party and some lassis and sodas to wash it all down.They were not staffed for the rush and it showed but they did their best and I was impressed with the service given the people that they probably were not expecting on a week day for lunch.The food was what you expect from an Indian restaurant in the cities. Not exceptional but solid. And we enjoyed everything that we ordered. I didn't order a lassi but did hear from some that did that it was disappointing. So there's that. But I have no complains about the food.All in all I was very impressed with them handling the large group of people and their orders. And the food was solid. I will come back when in the neighborhood and wanting some Indian food.

Saw a blog ranking this place pretty highly and decided to give it a try, between 2 people, we shared the Benne Masala Dosa, Madurai Chicken Pepper Fry and Andhra Chicken Curry. We took home leftovers. We ordered level 5 spice for the chicken dishes and it was definitely spicy for me. Everything was really good though, our favorites are the dosa (crispy exterior and yummy potato filling) and the Chicken Pepper Fry(very tasty). Also, saw a notice that they would start a lunch buffet soon so will be returning to try that! The service was prompt. We were seated immediately and we did not have to wait long before they came to take our order. However, we were one of the first ones in the restaurant as we went at 10.30am on a Sunday.The restaurant ambience is fine, it's clean and has comfortable seating.

Affordable Indian foodThe menu is extensive spanning vast array of Indian food favorites. Their buffet is the primary draw for many guests. The dosa was the best I have had in Minnesota. However the chutneys and sambar was sub par. Wish they had put in some effort in ensuring its authentic taste.

The service is really bad. We sat for 30 min we had non of our orders. We didn't have water, mango lassi, or the naan we ordered. We ordered lamb Bryani. We asked them if they had spice level. The said yes and we ordered mild. We go to Indian restaurant at least 2 times a month but we change locations to try different places, so we know mild bryani. They brought us spicy bryani and when I asked them to check they said we don't have spice level for bryani and they are all like this. Not only they brought the food so late but also lied. If they were honest we would get something different. Very disappointing. I came here for the reviews and they really disappointed
