Don Ho Chinese Restaurant

We love Don Ho! It has been a staple in the neighborhood for over 20 years. We especially like the combos and the house fried rice. MmmmmBut really it's all good.

Visiting the area and wanted Chinese food. No dine-in option. Only take-out. There a few table right outside of their door in this little indoor hallway. The hallway smelled like bathroom odor. Very unappealing! There seems to be a steady stream of customers coming in to order take-out. We stood in the hallway in front of their restaurant door to browse the menu and decide what to order. Unfortunately, the odor in the indoor hallway and in front of their restaurant door was so strong, it really unappetizing. Our family decided not to order from here. Even though we did not order here, I have posted their menu. This review is for my family's experience. Maybe we will go back to try them again before leaving the area.

The best Egg drop soup and Hot Sweet and SourGreat menu, location, food delish and kind staff, ample parking usually ready in 15 minutes! Love them!

Best Chinese take-out in the area! Super authentic and affordable. Great flavors, and the owners are always friendly. 10/10

Portions are good size. And food is very flavorful. They still don't have dine in service but I I usually order to go as a habit from you know what time. Try it out you won't regret it.

Probably the worst Chinese food ever had! I ordered the House Lo Mein w/chicken, pork, and shrimp, and my wife had the sesame chicken combo. My lo mein dish was dry and tasted old, like it was made the day before and reheated. The shrimp was cooked fine, but the small pork and chicken strips were very dry and tasteless. It was a big brown mess with a few pieces of onion but no other vegetables, color, or flavor. My wife's sesame chicken was hard to tell if there was any sesame on it. Large chicken nuggets with lots of breading and a tasteless fried rice. The cheese puffs were okay but sweet - way off balance. Not a place I would go back to.

I've been coming here for at least 10 years. unbelievable experience yesterday. Food was packaged in styrofoam which led to a HUGE MESSY blowout! The owner made a huge deal about a refund. I had picked this up at 11:30 am for coworkers and I worked until 7. I came back after work for the refund (and also an order I placed for dinner) and she asked me "why I didn't bring the food back" And kept blaming ME... Sad to say after this experience and her making ME feel soo bad I will NEVER come back..

If your interested in over cooked mushy vegetables and meat with 1/2 inch thick coatings all covered in the most mundane and tasteless sauces .. well this is your place. Everything is overcooked and over fried and just old (too long in the freezer) and just about as bland as it can get. I've been coming to Don Ho for over 10 years. The food is always amazing. I love the lo mein but have been branching out to try other items. The kung pao and Hunan Chicken are very good.

If you can find this place, you'll be really happy with the food here. I called in an order and within 20 minutes, I was holding two bags of fantastic Chinese food, prepared by Don Ho himself. Can't wait to go back to this little place. A pity they offer no duck dishes though.
