Dickerson's Lake Florida Resort

Serenity, happiness, lakeside wonder, rejuvenation, deep enjoyment, inner peace, in complete beauty, care, the breath of nature, close up wild... All moments felt and appreciated at this wondrous resort. The resort is being prepared for many fun lakeside moments of enjoyment. Connie and Bob have been raking the lake, setting out the docks, and getting the beach ready for their resort visitors. I think the kids and adults will all enjoy the many options available. I sure enjoyed the dock they put out for my stay this week! Connie and Bob Dickerson, Thank You.

We would DEFINITELY stay here again if we returned to Spicer. The fourth generation owners love what they do, and the property is proof. Incredible grounds, amenities, sunsets, views, donuts on Sundays, pizza on Mondays, hayride on Thursdays, privacy, own patios, bikes, childrens outside toys, multiple water activities, kayaks, boats, water cycles, canoes, and more! We loved it here. Perfect for families or couples...perfect for anyone/everyone. Very clean!!

This was our first visit to this resort. We were met by a warm plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies! We felt immediately welcomed! Our cabin was beautiful, peaceful and clean! A perfect picture out our window of the lake and it's beauty. My sistes and I have been taking yearly "Sister's Weekeend Away" for the past 17 years. Always some place new. We found this resort to be one of our favorites.

Interestingly, our poor review of this resort has been conveniently expunged! We rated them poorly for "nickle and diming" their clients and watching over their guests like the Gestapo! They are unbelievably money-grubby and extremely poor hosts! They don't allow you to have local guests, and in fact, charge you additional if you do! They watch every move you make and take a tally of anything you touch (for example, if you need to use a life preserver they charge you by the hour for something so ratty you don't even want to put it on your body!). Beware of this resort! It will ruin your family vacation!

A great summer family vacation spot. Quiet nights, beautiful sunsets, crystal clear water and clean cabins. A nice piece of normal in 2020! Highly recommend.

We have been coming to Dickerson's Resort on Lake Florida for 15 years now. One of the reasons that we continue to come back is the environment created by the people that return year after year. We enjoy reconnecting with friends we've made over the years. Kids have grown up and enjoyed seeing each other year after year for that same week each summer.The place offers an exceptionally clean environment in a beautiful setting for a place to relax and unwind each year. There are many resorts in the state but we have found none that are cleaner and offer this kind of environment. Every year we know what to expect and we can count on the same quality accommodations and hospitality. The cabins are maintained very well and the owners put a lot back into them to maintain them every year. The lake is a quiet lake for the most part with light boat traffic. The beach is kept clean and the grounds are well cared for.Dickersons work very hard at providing a first-rate vacation experience for all who use their resort. The resort and experience that they provide are unmatched and unique. Each year we look forward to our week at Dickerson's.
