The food is always good here! It's definitely a hidden gem with an old timey supper club ambiance. Service was quick and attentive. Breakfast is now served both weekend days and the hours are 8-8 on Saturday and Sunday. Bring the family and support a local family business!

Arrived and the restaurant wasn't event half full of people but still sat and waited 45mins to 1hr for mediocre, burnt and bland food. Server was basically non existent, didn't update us at all, didn't offer any refills. Another server gave us some fruit and a muffin because our toddler was getting fussy after waiting for so long, if it wasn't for that we'd had left before our food arrived. We had to chase down staff for any refills or inquiries.

Dehn's is a legit old school supper club - 4 stars!I really enjoyed my visit to Dehn's Country Manor. They're the real deal - a vintage supper club - established in 1955 and still operated by the original owners. They serve dinner, Sunday brunch, and daily specials along with a full bar. The restaurant is large with lots of real wood paneling, a stone fireplace, lots of seating with banquet style chairs, big vinyl booths...you get the idea. I love it!The food was great and the customer service was first rate. Both of us ordered the BBQ Ribs specials and we weren't disappointed. I get the impression that I would really love the Sunday brunch. It's definitely on my list. Finally, the food prices were amazingly reasonable. I don't know how they do it in this economy with all the crazy food inflation. But I'm happy they're able to somehow pull it off. The fact that they've survived for 69 years says it all. They're obviously doing things right. Thanks you, Dehn's!Thumbs up.-Maxx

They are open for breakfast again on Saturday and Sunday. Opens at 8:00 AM. I had the Cajun specialty breakfast with anduille. It was spectacularly good. My wife had their Farmers specialty breakfast and loved it. Read the menu carefully, the eggs are under the hash browns. I'd have to say this is the best breakfast we've had in this area in quite a long time. We'll definitely be going back again soon to try more of the specialty breakfasts. Our server was delightful and still learning their P.O.S. system. They are working towards being open for breakfast seven days a week and hiring for good service staff.

I took a time machine and found myself in Maple Grove before all of the chains were built. Back when Maple Grove was mostly farmland and there was a lonely restaurant opened that opened in 1958 by two farm brothers. Their sons took over in 2005, but you would be hard pressed to believe you are have not been transported to the last century. I say this in the best possible way.I found this place because I was in the mood for Prime Rib and this restaurant came up in Yelp. This supper club is not one that I had ever heard of, but it seemed worth a try.Dehn's Manor House is a great value! Entrees come with a baked potato (or fries or hash browns for 75 cents extra) OR a house salad with choice of home made salad dressing. You also get a bread basket to boot. The Prime Rib comes with a cup of au jus and horseradish if you want it. No stupid parsley on the plate! This is a supper club. Maybe once upon a time, that meant a fancy night out. However, now it's very relaxed and casual. So how is the food? I thought it was great. The Prime Rib was perfectly cooked (for me), and was juicy and flavorful. It was a bit difficult to cut through the fatty portions, but I'm not sure if that was the fault of the knife or the meat. I did not find it was tough in my mouth. No complaints about either the au jus (not too salty) or baked potato. I do think the casual ole-timey bit might be carried a bit too far. Could we not put the sour cream in a separate container rather than a large packet that resembled a ketchup pack (but bigger)? Could we not remove the aluminum foil from the baked potato (yes, that's quite 1958, but not really needed for serving)? I enjoyed the large cup for pop, but the plastic looked like it had been through about 10,000 dishwasher cycles and I'm sure it has! Could we not replace it with a cup a bit more appetizing? But given the pluses, I'm willing to forgive these small nit-picks.I also really enjoyed the beef barley soup. The broth was flavorful and it was full of super-soft chunks of beef. I loved it.My wife enjoyed her burger, but I had hoped she would try something a bit more adventurous for me to review. Nicely, they did allow her to sub a baked potato for her fries. The service was friendly and the waitress knew most of the people there. It was our first visit, but for most people, it was not their first rodeo. Obviously, this place is doing something right to have been around since 1958Dehn's feels like it's in the middle of nowhere and there is a huge farm on the side of the restaurant. However, it's only a few minutes away from Highway 610 and Highway 169 on Fernbrook Lane. The website says it's in Maple Grove, but the border of Dayton appeared before we were at the restaurant. Yelp lists the restaurant as being in Osseo. Just let Google Maps find it for you.I really feel like I discovered this place, but it's more that Dehn's discovered me. I've recommended this to my son-in-law who lives in Brooklyn Park, so that's a vote of confidence. One weird thing. They serve beer and wine, but for mixed drinks, you have to supply the liquor; they supply the "setup" for some small price. I don't know all the liquor restaurant rules, but this is one of those that also seems out of the last century too. There is breakfast and a kids' menu too.

I've only attempted dining there once and ordered the chateaubriand to share with my wife. I've never had such a TOUGH cut of meat. Especially from a tenderloin. I kind of suspect that they substituted an eye of round for the tenderloin, it was that tough and chewy. It was so bad that I will not go back. The place was cute in that "it hasn't changed since the 1970s" kind of way.

Stopped at Dehn's for the first time. We were the first ones in for the evening crowd!! Greeted and sat immediately, took our drink order and let us check out the menu. Service was extraordinary I had the tenderloin, wife had the deep fried walleye. Everything was cooked to order, hash browns were really good. Only thing that was a little negative was my steak was a bit under seasoned but they had salt and pepper on the table so I was able to fix it myself. We will be back.

We are huge Supper Club fans! So seeing we were heading to the Cities for Father's Day activities, I had to find a supper club to take my husband to on Supper Clubbin Saturday Night! Was very excited to find Dehn's and that they served prime rib! We met our daughter there as a surprise for him and the staff immediately picked up on what was happening and accommodated our request to hide her until we were being seated. Amazing surprise! The restaurant has a great supper club vibe and the staff was so friendly. Very easy to find! And I changed my reservation twice i think and they were very accommodating! My husband had the prime rib, daughter had the steak and I had the shrimp. All were delicious and made terrific leftovers the next day! We really liked the cheesy hashbrowns! Prime rib only needed a little more salt for our taste but overall very good!We also tried the caramel cheesecake, because they were out of the apple crisp but we're hoping to try that next time we swing through town!
