This was our 2nd year coming to Deer Lake Orchard. It is the perfect little size, they have enough activities to keep you busy for a few hours and it never felt overcrowded. They have a great little gift store with lots of local made treats and pre bagged apples. You can also pick your own. We did the wagon ride and corn maze. Wagon ride was fun. Corn maze was a bit of a dud, not super well kept and we were in and out of there in about 5 minutes. They also had some goats you could feed, a jumping pad and a pumpkin patch. There was also some outdoor seating and some live music which was nice. There is a little parking right in front and then some more on the side.

Sweet Tango Apples are hand picked, chilled and crisp. Perfectly delicious for the fall. A fun experience for the whole family with all sorts of farm animals roaming.

What a cute little family run Orchard! They have a kids area for play time, farm animals, a band, tractor rides, a corn maze, and of course plenty of apples. The weekend I was there they also had a bbq food truck on site if you wanted something other than Apple cider, Apple fritters (highly suggest), or the apple turnovers. If you get nervous around big crowds like I do, I suggest this orchard because it's not crazy packed with people and you have plenty of room to be comfortable along with no long lines!

A lovely way to spend a beautiful fall day! Our family enjoyed lunch here along with a flight of hard ciders on the outdoor deck overlooking the orchard. We recommend pear and the maple cider! After looking around the grounds, feeding the sheep, picking apples, we headed back up to the barn for some absolutely delicious apple fritters (highly recommend)and apple turnovers. Caramel apples $3 each. Fire-baked pizzas good and are $6 for small individual pizzas. Glass of cider will run you $6. We had so much fun, we plan on heading back next weekend. Maybe we'll do the maze and hayride..along with the ciders. There are big bales of hay for kids to climb on, too. A great place to take fall pictures.JUST A TIP- pick your own!! I was not happy with the quality of the pre bagged. Bruised, holes, etc.. on the apples!

Nice music up front but there wasn't much activities for the kids. Afton Apple Orchard is 10 times better with better apples too.
