Dale Studios did a fantastic job capturing our family in timeless portraits that we will cherish forever.Bob is an amazing photographer. He has a great eye for capturing the perfect moment, and he is always willing to go the extra mile to get the shot. He is also very patient and understanding, and he always made sure that we were comfortable and happy.

I got a $200 gift certificate at the HRC Gala in the silent auction for $80. It was going to be our first professional family photos. I went for a sitting with Bob, the owner. I was a little shocked at the prices at that time. I scheduled the appointment for the photos and my family went to have them done. We are not the type of family that likes the traditional poses that you normally see in professional photos. Bob did a great job at getting my children to pay attention and had them (and us) do action shots. The photos turned out GREAT! They were a little more than we wanted to spend but well worth it! We wouldn't have gotten the photos that we got for had we went elsewhere. Great experience, quick turn around on getting them, and the framing was included! We would definitely go back!

Me. Bob Dale is a gifted photographer; he truly captures everyone at their best. We have a large family, and everyone looked beautiful (admittedly, an impressive feat)! I read the other review complaining about the prices, and I vehemently disagree. After all, how many family portraits does the average family obtain? I strongly believe that this is NOT the time to shop for cheap deals! Companies such as Olan Mills, Sears, or Lifetouch do not hold a candle to the extraordinary experience and results that Dale Studios provides. I give Dale Studios my highest recommendation!

Our family had a wonderful experience. Our portraits were spectacular, including those of my 4 year old granddaughter. Bob is very professional and personable. He took the time required to get the best possible shots. These are clearly the best portraits we have ever had done. Having shopped around, I found his prices quite reasonable.

We've just had a very successful experience with Dale Studios. We had Bob take portraits of our family of five, and we love how they turned out. He managed to get fantastic, natural shots of all of our children, and he helped us all look our best. We're going to treasure these pictures for a long time. My family and I won a photo session with Dale Studios through a school auction. Our family is new to Minnesota and we wanted to update our family photos. We meet with the studio and they were very professional. Asked lots of questions in order to get to know my family. This made the experience more personal. He even suggested colors for us to wear at the photo session. The owner was very professional. Our photos came out beautiful and he provided lots of surprises when we picked up the photos. Having professional family photos is an investment. Dales Studios is worth the investment.

We had a wonderful experience here! I was impressed in our first meeting together that Bob took careful notes about interests of each family member. Later, during our photo shoot, he was able to converse with my 12,9, and 5 year-olds about what they were interested in. He was great about keeping my children engaged to get some great portraits! There was no pressure during the ordering process, and he even delivered a couple of the frames right to our house. He got back to emails quickly and was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him!

We just received our framed prints from Bob Dale and are very happy with them! To be honest, when we started this process I naively thought that we might be doing an outdoor photo shoot in a casual setting. So when I realized we would be doing an indoor portrait sitting I was a little nervous that our pictures would be too "formal" and not representative of the personalities in our family. During our consultation, I expressed to Bob my desire to have our photos be informal and fun, and he had some great techniques for achieving this result. In the end, I felt he captured our family beautifully. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is that I was a little surprised at the cost of the prints. That said, we had not taken family photos in several years and I am so very happy that we invested the time and money to have them done!

Bob did our family portraits 10 years ago and when it was time to do them again, we knew where to go. Bob is professional, pleasant to work with, and has that "eye" for capturing a moment in your life that you'll remember forever. As we all get older and we see our kids grow into adulthood, we'll be using Bob to capture great life moments when our kids have families of their own. Could you find a cheaper photographer? Maybe. Could you find one that earns every dime you pay like Bob does? No. The quality is priceless.
