Looking for that small town restaurant that all the locals love, look no further. Cross roads has changed hands many times and hasn't been that good in the past, but I was there this past Sunday for breakfast and the food was REALLY good. There was a lot of food on the plate and it was nice and hot. The wait was a little long, but it was worth it. If you haven't given cross roads a try since the new ownership took over, you really should Good prices too. I highly recommend.

Had a chemical taste, like the utinsels hadn't been rinsed well, hash browns were white, not impressive, staff not friendly, cold. Sorry that was my last time there

A nice 'hometown' feel service station. The owners/staff are friendly and warm, the service is brisk, and the amenities are good. It's nice to be welcomed by name when you come in!

Good food, warm and friendly service. Very cute ambiance esp if you like Harry Potter. Would definitely stop for breakfast if I'm in the area again!

Contrary to what has been stated, Crossroads Cafe is alive and kicking. The gas station/convenience store is gone, but good food remains under new management or ownership.I stopped in for breakfast and was delightfully surprised. A smiling waitress greeted me as I came through the door and asked if I wanted coffee. By the time I sat down, she arrived with the coffee (good & strong) and a menu. I decided on a Meat Lover's Omelet with Hash Browns & Toast. Yeah, I know, pretty standard stuff. Either a cafe presents a good breakfast or it's awful. This one is good. When my meal arrived, I was surprised at the size of the portions. The omelet was fully stuffed with lots of cubed ham, sausage, and crispy bacon. And yes, plenty of fine Wisconsin cheddar was inside. The hash browns were golden crispy with an interior that wasn't mush. Obviously homemade and very tasty.Everything served hot and fresh makes for a great breakfast when a cook really knows how to cook.

I had a very good breakfast. Not fancy but home style cooking. The exterior looks a little worn but the interior is clean comfortable and the service was good.

We go here at least once while visiting our daughter and family. Reasonable, generous servings and decent coffee! No one is more doting of our grandchildren than Jackie, who visits w/ us and treats the grandchildren each time we are there. It's a hidden GEM!

We live in MN and stop here quite frequently when passing through. Servers are great and the food is the best around the whole area. Large portions also. They have the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. My husband loves the Smoked Turkey Wrap. Their soups and desserts are great. Everything is homemade. We have never had a meal that wasn't great here. Definitely worth stopping and even going out of the way for.
