Cowboy Jacks

Fun spot! Recently visited the Midwest and this was our first stop. I liked the vibes and ambiance. They had a dancefloor in the back, but also tables and booths towards the front if you just want to hangout with friends!

A fun outing on Friday brought us to Cowboy Jacks! In the back room is a large space set up with an open dance area for the Line Dancing lessons starts at 7 and goes till 9. There are couches and high tables available and a designated bar for drinks! The floor was full of wanna be dancers who actually were doing great! And the teacher provider a lot of different dance moves fun for sure and the hubs and I might be back with our boots! We grabbed a bite to eat at the bar in the front of the bar / restaurant bartenders were pleasant and attentive. For an appetizer we ordered the jalapeño cheese curds which were hot & delicious We also ordered the smoked chicken flatbread which came out hot however not much else to say as we couldn't taste any smokiness in the chicken and made a note not to order it again. All in all we had a fun time and will be back!

My husband and I went for lunch on a Monday during the holiday season. It wasn't crowded and we were seated at a booth. This Cowboy Jacks is connected to a hotel which is great. I had the taco wrap which was tasty and my husband had the Cowboy Burger which he also enjoyed. Cowboy Jacks is a low-key spot in the middle of the day. The food was good, the beer selection adequate, and just nothing to write home about. We enjoyed our lunch and our server, Relinda, was extremely pleasant. We'll be back, for sure.

Great place for my girls to meet for happy hour! Cowboy Jacks has something everyone like and inexpensive happy hour specials.It is our go-to when we want to celebrate or just meet up to catch up.

You seat your self for lunch the wait staff greeted us and was very friendly. They have a nice selection of beers and there menu has a little something for everyone. The food was excellent. The ice tea was something to be desired. Overall we had a great experience.

The wait wasn't terribly long, but the time it took for us to be able to order definitely took away from that one good component. The food was terrible. My friend had to put bbq sauce on his taco because it was so plain. I've had cafeteria burgers that tasted better than what I had here. The bun was hard and there were maybe 6 out of 1000 fries that were actually eatable. I threw the dry on my plate and nearly broke it lol! It's a big no for me. I'd never give them a second chance. I understand it was busy, but you still can't serve mediocre food

Food is good. This is more a nightlife review. Good times. The back room has dancing and music and fun for Apple Valley. Staff is nice. Customers aren't usually creepers. A fun time usually when we go!

I sat in a booth looking at filthy dust growing like a fungus on the ceiling worried it would get into my food. I brought it up to the server. She said their manager was not there, and she would say something to the bartender. They did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. Offer me another table to cleaning it off to remaking my food and covering it so that I can take it home And eat and clean environment that's what they're hosting. Looks like I wonder what behind the scenes in the kitchen looks like.

Food would have been ok if it was brought out hot. We had the chicken pesto flatbread and nachos and the melted cheese was cold. Servers are nice but pretty young and green. They don't know much about the drinks.

Arrived at 3:20pmServed water at 3:45pm. Our order taken. Served appetizer queso and stale chips at 4:00pm.Served our order of wild rice soup that was watery and tasteless like from a can that had two small pieces of chicken and cheese curds we didn't order instead of a cheeseburger at 4:15pmThe burger finally arrived at 4:30pm and tasted good. Bad service
