Very nice meal! Seated promptly and service was great.Food was very good. Burger was excellent as was the beef stroganoff. Chili was exceptional.

Great spot to end a two hour college graduation in a hall with hundreds of people and students and NO AC in 85 degree heat (probably 95 in that hall)! We enjoyed relaxing with some apps and cold beer on the patio to unwind. And finished with a treat! Mini donuts!

Very good food, lots of seating indoor & out. Husband had the Irish Burger and loved it so much he wanted it again the next day but we waited a week. I had bourbon glazed salmon and it was great, same for our son's sirloin. We'll be back next time we pass through on our way to vacation.

5 Starts for location and how awesome this restaurant is. It's the food is really what holds this place back. It has 2 floors of outdoor seating that overlooks a park and a river. On a nice night, like tonight, it was the perfect place to have a drink or a meal. Indoor, they have a great bar and some really nice big TV's to watch the game. Can't beat the atmosphere. Staff is pretty young and a bit green, but all that I interacted with where super nice and friendly. I did have a little hiccup with my order, but corrections where made quickly and I was in no hurry, so I was okay with it. The the 3 start rating comes down to the food, while nothing was bad, nothing was great either! The wings (appetizer) were probably the best part of my meal... but they were really small. I think you get 6 for $9, just not a lot meat on the bones. However flavor was good. My club sandwich was pretty dry and the bacon was kind of chewy. Tater tots (up charge) were just okay. I would go back because I really like the place and the location. However I might hunt through the menu for something different than I had tonight. Worth another try based on atmosphere alone.

Definitely some improvements from my last review. The cowboy queso with beef is still fantastic and they must have seen my review and significantly improved the corn chips that accompany it. The apps are good. Happy hour is really good,includes $2 pint of Jacks IPA, now made by Utepils brewery and delicious.The expanded outdoor patio and second floor deck are complete. The upstairs offers some open sky and some shade. Limited bar menu on the upper deck and no tap beer.I'll be happy to return. We had a large group tonight with very attentive service.

Thought we'd try it out... seems to always be busy. I'm not sure why but went in on a Friday night at a reasonable hour and it was just garbage! I just paid for garbage! So we got bloody Mary's a staple in Wisconsin! That was the worse bloody I've ever had! I don't even think it had any vodka in it so I pretty much paid for what they call tomato juice, or watered down bloody mix. The waitress seemed as if she had better things to do because she brought us out are bloody's set them down asked if we where ready and before I could say anything she said "oh I'll be back"... I had to say pretty loud and stern we are in fact ready. We started out with the breaded cauliflower bits. Then I got the walleye with garlic mash with coleslaw. The girlfriend got the caprese flatbread. The breaded bits where pretty much fired to death I'll post a pic. What tasted they did have was of fryer oil. The walleye I had was rubbery and bland as it gets! Even the breading was plan! The garlic mash was close to the past you'd use in art class for paper máchá sculpture and had absolutely no taste! I mean none... paper máchá probably has more taste! The coleslaw had the consistency of wet wood bark... and the tastes of a communion wafer. The girlfriends flat bread was again about and bland as it gets and this surprises me because it's just cheese, bread and tomato's with balsamic vinegar on it. How you screw that up is something just shy of licking a flag pole on a cold day! The flatbread had less then what seemed to be an ounce of tomatoes tossed on it from what looked like across the room. The atmosphere was that of a collage bar trying to be hip and happening yet tucked away on the newer side of Altoona. Just another sports bar in the Eau Claire area... Now the price for this fine dinner experience! The total bill was fifty some dollars and with tip because that's the normal now to tip even the shittys of waitresses... it round out to be sixty five dollars. 1-10 probably won't send my most hated friends or the people I can't stand at work to this place. I could have gotten a better meal out of the kwick trip cold case.

This is our second time back. The first time wasn't good, this time, we sat outside and the experience was great. The seating outdoors is wonderful, with two floors. This time when looking at the menu, we realized, they have too many items to make everything well. So we picked items that are hard to screw up, a spicy chicken sandwich and veggie pizza. Both wonderful and our drinks were great. I was eying the creamy pasta, but a review said to avoid and our waitress agreed. I think with understanding the menu is too vast and ordering strategically, it's a great spot!

This place is always busy! That's because you can get a tasty meal with a great drink selection at a fair price. The soup is awesome! Chunks of chicken and very satisfying. I was in town for the week and had the soup everytime I visited. The portions are plentiful. The serving staff are worker bees, always trying to give you everything you need. From napkins to recommendations.

Service was awesome, we did not get our servers name, but she had stated she worked their for 6 years. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and any questions we had. We ended up getting dinner there the next 2 nights and trying something different each time.
