Court'n House Bar & Grill

Tried the Court'n House on a day trip to Eau Claire after reading some reviews about the burgers. We were there on the Fourth of July, early/mid afternoon. Service was good - the restaurant wasn't very crowded so everything came out quickly. It was pretty quiet, which was nice. The burger, fries, and onion rings were all awesome! It's just what you'd expect for some good bar food. They did not have their July specials ready yet which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall pretty good!

Overall pretty basic and service was really slow. Good burgers and amazing eggs rolls. Prices are very reasonable.

Since this place is located right across the street from where I and my family had a meeting on a recent afternoon, we entered to get a small bite before heading in different directions to our own homes.The time was around 4pm and we were seated in a booth right away and given menus. Our server was friendly, very capable, and helpful. I saw Sprecher's Root Beer on tap and ordered a pint. My sister and I decided to split a burger - mushroom & Swiss - with a side of waffle fries, along with sides of tarter sauce (for Sis) and seasoned sour cream (each side of sauce is $.50). My Mom ordered a grilled cheese with slices of tomato.When our food came out a while later (not too long of a wait), it was piping hot. The waffle fries were nicely crunchy, and the burger was very tasty. Sis was happy with the tarter sauce accompaniment to her waffle fries (I tried the sauce and really liked it!) and I thought the "seasoned" sour cream was a wee bit bland; but it was alright. I enjoyed a dip in some ketchup even more though. Brother shared some of the waffle fries and seemed to like them. We ought to have ordered a full order of them instead of just the "side" portion in our burger basket. I'll know for next time. Mom seemed happy with her sandwich, no complaints.When our server asked about our interest in some dessert, and added that they've got in-house made pumpkin cheesecake, I spoke up and said Yes! It was oh, so good; great flavor & smooth texture, along with a light, crumbly graham cracker crust. The four of us 'gobbled' it down in no time, leaving nothing behind. It was an excellent choice for ending our meal and time together!I look forward to returning another time to enjoy the place longer, and have a beer or two, when I don't have to drive back to St. Paul right away that is.

I went here as part of the EC cheese curd crawl. The curds are very good. Decent selection of beer on tap. Attentive bartender.

Tried out Court'N House since new ownership. Ate outside on a weekday evening and had great service. Prices have definitely increased and it's not the traditional place we have frequented over the years. Bacon Cheeseburger not on the menu except as a make your own-which my husband did-and said it was good. I had the make your own chicken sandwich. Good but a bit greasy for grilled chicken. I had it with homemade chips-they were greasy as well. Husband's fries were crispy, crinkle cut and better than my side. Written beer list would have been nice and they ran out of the house Chardonnay. Not the same old Court''N House but we will come back as I am interested in trying their pizza. Nightly specials look appealing as well. Staff were friendly and capable. Glad they now accept credit cards.

They have the best burgers in all of Eau Claire! The service is amazing and food comes out quickly. I LOVE this place!

Waiter was super nice but it took a VERY long time to get food. My Waiter was extremely nice and gave me a free beer in exchange for the wait. The burger was delicious - they have 2 for 1 on Thursdays. Curds were definitely frozen.

Walked in and loved the dive bar yet clean vibe feel.About three different parties came in after with toddlers/babies which was weird but hey it's Wisconsin. The cheese curds and ranch were epic. I am not usually a ranch person but this seemed homemade with some flavor. Bartender was pretty attentive the whole time. We ordered wings, pizza and burgers across the group including waffle fries with seasoned sour cream (was recommended by bartender). The good? The pizza and boneless wings were both solid choices. I would go back for the pizza alone. The questionable? The burgers were average. We had two with our group and neither thought they were spectacular (over cooked). The homemade seasoned sour cream dip for the waffle fries was horrendous. Took two passes at it and grabbed mustard. Too much dill seasoning and no flavor or balance past that. Would I go again? Yes but I wouldnt get a burger or seasoned sour cream. I'd go to culvers.. or gulp.. maybe burger king before this place for a burger.

Not a fancy place. very much the Wisconsin bar. The fish sandwich is nice and crunchy Tastes great. Cheese and bacon app is well what can you say? who does not like cheese and bacon! definitely going back!

Monthly June salad was all lettuce very few apples, bacon or cheese. Had to search find to find any ingredients other than lettuce.
