Walking the hallowed grounds of Bunker Hills Golf Course elicits a feeling not known in the everyman's lexicon. It's an enveloping feeling of awe as if you rode upon the cliffs of Niagara Falls mounted upon your trusty unicorn to witness a triple rainbow whilst imbibing water from the fountain of youth.Air is airier. Grass is greener. Balls fly as if it by the hammer of Thor. But do not walk meekly onto the course that the crying baby jesus gave us. Your skills will be challenged at every turn. Trees come alive like Groot in an attempt to embrace errant shots. Water lurks in strategic locations like the Vegas walkers of the night. And the Bunkers are pure as any snow Pablo Escobar provided.Be bold. Walk fiercely.

Bunker Hills is continually one of the best golf courses in the Twin Cities. There are 27 holes to play on the championship course and an excellent 9 hole executive course. Most recently I played the executive course with my dad and brother. It is a fun, yet challenging course that is easily walkable and provides a nice afternoon of fun without taking all afternoon. In the winter Bunker has an excellent simulation center where you can play some of the words best golf courses, a great way to keep up your game all winter long. The Bar & Grill is excellent, (almost) everything is made fresh on site; the rotisserie chicken is delicious. The bar also hosts a great beer list with local and national craft brews on tap.

Beautiful golf course. The executive 9 fairways can be spongy after a good rain, so you might want to stick with the 18. A bit more expensive than other golf courses nearby.

Wonderful service and the food was great The server was excellent with our big party at the last minute. It was busy and she took time to come back to the table to be sure we were fine.

We played here 6/5/20 and it was a mixed bag to say the least...the practice range was good....putting green didn't putt like the course which is somewhat of an irritant. Staff were cool...BUT my beef with this course is they let 5 somes play on the weekend...worse our tee time was at 8:48 where you would normally expect better / faster players to book times. NOT THE CASE today...they had two 5somes out in front of us and to be frank I'd rather use my sack as a pin cushion than have to wait 15 minutes on the tee box. Seriously, nothing like never getting into a flow / pace and getting to the tee and waiting so long you get stiff...had I known their 5some policy, I'd have passed. Thst said, I won't be back unless I'm looking to get a good book in between tee shots. Seriously, bring your La-Z-Boy with your clubs, make a fire and get a few chapters in between holes!

Wednesday Nights Mens League. I would provide less stars buts that is as low as it gets. So if you are planning on playing in the men's league better be prepared for 3 hour to play 9 holes. 10 players per tee box to start a 270 golfer shotgun every week. If that doesn't sound like enough you are wrong. 415 players are trying to get tee times for 270 spots available per week. So not only are you going to wait but it's a mad dash to get a spot. And it doesn't stop there. That's right you pay 105 dollars to play in a league that doesn't guarantee a spot to play and take 3 hours for 9 holes. What a joke. Nice course but men's league is a complete money pit for the cities pockets
