Best comic store I've been to. Impossibly hard to find (maybe that's part of the charm?!). Pick your character... they have a drawer of past issues and random special issues of that hero's or villain's adventures. But seriously hard to find. Street address in Yelp, Uber and Lyft all wrong. Call first for actual address. Door in back of building behind an opened gate. Not visible from the road. Good selection of rare/oddball figures, without becoming a merch warehouse. Knowledgeable workers. Did I mention hard to find? Had budgeted an hour there before meeting friends for lunch. Took 40 mins to find it. Next time I'm back, will spend an hour at least.

The best comic book shop in the Twin Cities. A great selection of back-issues, new comics (including variants, special items, etc.), and superb service. This has been my home shop for some time now (well worth the 30m drive each week) and I have no doubt you'll love it too!

Love the WIDE range of comics, from my childhood classics ('74-'83), to totally modern releases. Helpful and knowledgeable staff--great location with LOTS of extra collectibles to ogle. Great comics shop!

I love long box diving. I was in town and had time for one comic book stop. This shop had excellent variety and fair pricing. Great mix of 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, and $3 boxes. There were great deals for buying bulk from the $1 and $2 boxes. Great selection of recent and old back issues. If you have some money to spend, there are plenty of accessible long boxes with great finds. Friendly, helpful staff.

SMALL & SMART! An what do I mean buy "SMART"... Well, Every year (or twice A Year) they have their Annual/Bi-Annual INVENTORY SALE were ALL Newer-racked COMICS are $1/$2 because they understand- If it doesn't sell within the first 6 months it's probably not going to period. Thus, there's No reason to back issue 99% of comic's these days because All they're going to doing is become stale as THEY'RE STORY'S BECOME IRRELEVANT (from A DC/Marvel Continual perspective anyway).. They understand to Sell/ Strike when its Hot/ New because back-issuing Comics these days fade on the vine quickly & most dead ishs end up collecting dust in back-issue bins with constantly dwindling value. AN THESE UPTOWN CAT'S GET POINS FOR UNDERSTANDING THAT!_____________________________________________They're also polite & courteous merchants. A far-cry from "the Mole-Man" at 'Big Brain Comics' who prides himself on his audacious rudeness an lack of decorum. If your in Up-Town Check these guys out; their 5mnts down from the main UpTown area/intersection. An they Always seem to have A Good-selection of New comics. I'm not as positive about their GN's, for that you might want to journey to 'The SOURCE' (who has ALOTA garbage GN's, an they rarely Re-stock) or even probably 'Big Brain comics' (who specializes in having the Popular, classic & Hard to find GN's),If I Lived in UpTown or south Side I would have my Pull-List Right Here!

Won't be back! PLEASE READ!! I have been to a lot of comic stores around the metro and have been building my collection. Decided to give this location a try today 7/27/17.After looking through comics I decided to approach the cashier to ask some questions about other series! I was told this Verbatim by the cashier. " I have seen you read 3 comics, you can't read here! There is a library down the street! Then Why are there chairs and beanbags?!What kind of bookstore discourages customer from checking out the product! I was planning on buying but because of your assumption I will not be back! Will be writing a letter to the manager this is unexceptionable customer service! Not sure if this guy was having a bad day, still no way to treat customers!

This my favorite comic store for sure. The main reason I choose to go here than anywhere else is the owner and staff are extremely nice people. Which is something I admire much more than any products provided anywhere in general. Congrats Comic Book College, you guys are 100% dickhole free! And as an added update, the back issue selection here is one of the best in the twin cities. If a person can't find a comic or anything comic related here, then they don't enjoy comics, period. I also recommend doing a pull list of at least one comic here. If a person has a pull list set up, it gives them a 10% discount on all purchases at the store. So if you have even the mildest of interests in anything comic related, go ahead and give Comic Book College a try because you'll have nothing to lose and very much to gain.

I have been going to this place for about 2 or 3 years now considering that it is very close to my house. They always have good customer service out of all the times I've been there and they are very nice and will engage in conversations about comics if you choose to start one with one of them. They have a very good selection and run good sales for holidays and good sales on older comics and series, some of them being as cheap as a dollar. All in all very nice people who work there cool setup and nice selection makes for a nice visit. They also offer a discount for young readers if you choose to take your kids there or you are an kid yourself.

I don't know much about comic books, but the staff at Comic Book College went out of their way to make sure I was buying the right comic books for a gift for someone. Without hesitation, they also accommodated me by taking my payment over the phone and bringing my purchase outside, making it possible for me to patronize their store AND protect my family from covid-19.
